“We stayed here a few weeks ago just for 1 night and it was wonderful. The room was spacious for 4 people and had an amazing view with a balcony. Breakfast and pool were great. They even had a shower in the lobby if you wanted to use the pool after check out. Walking distance to the beach. Would definitely stay here again! Things to note: its up on a hill so walking could be tricky for people with mobility issues. Also check the hours of the pool because the pool closed for cleaning before the……

“Our AC didn’t work and the staff knew that and put is in the room. When we asked for help to turn on the AC we were told there’s an issue with the AC in our room and they can’t do anything about it that night. It would’ve been nice to be put in a room that had AC”

“Wonderful roof terrace. Friendly welcome - the owners even offered to collect and drop off at airport. Rooms are basic but good value. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill but is easily accessible and affords excellent views!”

“We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. “The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower was great. Breakfast was good, with a few different options. The pool is clean and a good size with lots of sub beds around it. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help. Brilliant views of the mountains and the sea to the other side.”

“The apartment was kept spotlessly clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful There was adequate Aircon across the whole of the apartment. The apartment is in an excellent location in a quiet area but on the edge of where the action is. It is easy to get to and from the apartment without any step climbs.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rene. We arrived much later than planned but were welcomed so graciously and even made some food. The rooms, with fantastic air conditioning, and grounds were spotless because they were cleaned every day. ALL staff were friendly and approachable. Sunbeds, swimming and restaurant area were all well maintained. Beach and town centre all within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Nice and newly renovated property. Not too far from town, but not walking distance. We took taxis and the water taxi a couple times. Only disappointment was our rooms that had children booked in each were not placed on the same floor. I think they could’ve made a greater effort to ensure this since we booked well in advance. Pool side service also lacked enthusiasm but the bar was near enough that this wasn’t a great inconvenience. Would stay there again.”

“The staff were friendly, kind and very helpful . The breakfast and lunch was good, The sun beds were very comfortable, 20€ for 2 beds plus 1 umbrella. Unless you were in the front row when it was 25€. As there was 3 of us no option but to pay for 4 beds ! Hotel situated in an ideal spot, bus stop 5, with an easy was into town on the lower road, Supermarket across the road. I booked a sea view suite which I believed was in the new block but it wasn’t it was in the hotel which was fine but……
