Excellent service, couldn't have been more helpful.
Room was nice, clean but a bit small...if I'd had a big suitcase not sure if it would have fit.
Breakfast was generous and delicious.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was very characterful and comfortable. Dining was excellent and the staff were all extremely friendly and pleasant. A little gem of a place.
A beautiful, classic English country inn. The room was spotlessly clean. The food and the service were outstanding. A beautiful area. I would definitely love to return.
The Devonshire Is a family run hotel where hospitality, friendliness and service are second to none.
We only stayed for one night on 26th January whilst on a short walking break and the hotel proved to be an excellent choice. The room was spotless, a good size and the bed very comfortable. The hotel boasts a restaurant. well stocked bar area and a lounge with open fires offering guests a pleasing and comfortable environment in which to relax. We enjoyed an excellent evening meal in the restaurant from a wide ranging menu followed by breakfast with a good choice of dishes. The quality of the food overall was superb
The family go out of their way to be welcoming and friendly and work very hard to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay
We could not fault this hotel and will certainly return - Would highly recommend
Fantastic base for the Yorkshire Dales the family that run the pub are really friendly and helpful rooms are clean and comfortable fabulous food we'll certainly be returning
Fabulous warm welcome and great staff.
Food was delicious and nothing was too much effort.
Nice quiet nights sleep too in a very comfy bed!
Great value.
Great location to visit Malham on 20 minutes away. Staff and service was exceptional as was the quality of food. Bedroom was on the tight side for space but I was on a solo trip. Probably common for older buildings.
Very comfortable stay, staff were professional helpful friendly and polite, service excellent. Room quite cramped for the B&B price paid, though the value for money ratio is perhaps reflective of unusual circumstances and demand this year. Dinner and breakfast excellent, bicycle storage secure, good range of non meat choices on menu.
The friendliness of the staff made our stay memorable. We loved that there was a fridge on the landing with cold water and milk in reusable glass bottles for us to use in our rooms, never had this before and found it a great eco-friendly and customer friendly addition. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was cosy.
It was clean, shower didnt work informed them and it was fixed, still not good low water pressure, it seems its a theme with hotels around here. Plenty of food for breakfast which was ok, had evening meal didnt rate that at all. Over all bit pricey
.
Cosy but comfortable stay. Clean and eco friendly in their approach to toiletries and water and milk for the room. I liked this very much. Friendly staff and lovely food in the restaurant both for an evening meal and for breakfast the next morning. Great range of breakfast items. Would recommend and stay again if in the area.
Our stay was wonderful, the staff were all so lovely and you can really tell that it is family run and a lot of care has been taken to make it a lovely place to stay. I can't rate it highly enough from the lovely bedroom, great food (including vegan options) and service and beautiful area.
A wonderful two night's. Very friendly staff nothing was too much. The food choice was good, well presented and delicious.
Would recommend a place to stay.
Very friendly service and helpful the rooms are very comfy and the breakfast service was excellent and a great selection of food would recommend this for couples and families
Walked over from Litton and received a very warm welcome on arrival. Room very cosy and comfortable, great to have a soak in the bath. Great food in the evening and wonderful breakfast. Great location for exploring this part of the dales.
Everything was good quality. The room was light and clean and had all that you need for a weekend away. The only negative was a weak shower with changing temperature. The breakfast was excellent with lots of options such as a full English or I chose salmon & scrambled eggs. There was also a continental buffet.
