Shuttle is a Tremendous Help

We needed a place to stay with a shuttle from the airport so my 5 year old & I wouldn't have to pick my husband up after midnight. The shuttle is 24/7, so that is a big plus!

It was my very first time staying at a hotel. Courtyard by Marriott pheonex hotel gave me my very first best experience. I have a good time staying there. Nice staffs. Great place. Thanks to all the staffs at the courtyard by Marriott Phoenix.

Decent for a quick stay

Cons: Better ventilation of the bathrooms to prevent mold growth on ceiling and walls
Location: Not far from Tempe, lots of restaurants on Mill Ave and University
Staff was nice and facilities were in good condition. Like many hotels the bathroom ventilation is not done very well. There was mold on the ceiling and wall by the shower due to poor ventilation during showers. Otherwise bed was ok and my stay was uneventful, just always disappointed to see mold in the bathroom.

Our stay was ok but I thought it was going to be like Springhill suites which is also owned by Marriott so I was expecting that type of hotel. One big disappointment was no breakfast. I took for granted because it was a Marriott that you also had a full breakfast as the Spring Hill suites so that was a huge disappointment, the room was nice and clean and that is important. Lesson learned...only Springhill suites for my family.

Nice, but noisy

Hotel was nice but A/C unit was very noisy. Every time it kicked on, it woke me up. Result: a rotten nights sleep.

Nice hotel close to ASU

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel because we wanted to be close to the airport and close to ASU. The check-in was uneventful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean.

Disappointing

Pros: Too disappointed to like this hotel
Location: Close to airport, restaurants and main highway
Arrived at hotel a little last past 6 pm, there were 5 in my party, we were checked in quick but in a room that did not accommodate 5 people. I called front desk and was told that because we reserved it through a third party, which is through Expedia, the guy who answered said they cannot always guarantee the room, he said he'll provide us with extra sheets and pillows, So my son end up sleeping on the floor. We were exhausted at this point as this was the end of our trip and so I didn't bother arguing. The parking lot was not full so I surmise the hotel was not full. I have always booked through third party and has not had this problem. Totally disappointed!

Guest rooms at our hotel are designed for 4 adults. To sleep 5 comfortably, a 2nd room makes the most sense, unless there are small children in your party.

Plumbing problem in bathroom

Very disappointing for a Marriot. After checking in we went out to dinner and arrived back at the hotel late. When we pulled backthe shower curtain there was disgusting brown water with black clots in the bathtub. It would not drain. We called down to report it but they didn't seem too concerned. The obligatory "I"m sorry." Would not stay there again. The shuttle service was excellent. The young girl driving was phenomenal. Too bad she's working there.
