Quaint old timey European hotel. Nice setting. Kind of wooded. You dont realize your even close to airport. Quiet setting with nice staff. Very low key.

Close to the airport, that's it.
The hotel was conveniently located by the airport, but the rooms were not very clean with stains on the furniture and dust (?) collected in the corners. I also saw a small bug crawling in the cheese at the breakfast buffet.

Very good service and offered dropping off to the Airport for free. Armchair was very dirty and the furniture is quite old.

The first room I got the bed was made but there were multiple hairs on the sheets. The second room was clean. Good showers, decent breakfast.

Relaxing stay
Although not a contemporary hotel, it is maintained to a high standard, the room was spotlessly clean, the food of exceptional quality, and both food and drinks reasonably priced. All staff were courteous, and exceptionally willing to help. The WiFi was fast, and simple to access. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I booked this hotel for my friend and her son who were travelling from Tenerife back to Ukraine. As instructed, I telephoned the hotel prior to arrival (I also sent a message via Facebook) and arranged airport transfer (their flight was arriving around midnight). The girl I spoke to did not speak great English but I supplied all the detail required. However, no airport transport was arranged and my friend and her son were forced to make their own arrangements - this was most disappointing. Also, with my previous bookings through Expedia, the hotel cost has always been automatically taken from my card on arrival. This was not the case this time and my friend had to pay at the hotel. Overall a very disappointing experience !!!

Thank you for your opinion. The card given in the booking will be charged at the time the Guest will write us - we don't have this information. Guests pick up from the airport when they call us and they say they are ready to pick up - apparently no one has called us. Contact with the reception is by phone or email, not by facebook The staff at our reception desk speaks English well, they are sure to understand what you mean. These inconveniences could have been avoided by informing us of the transport and charge of the card. Welcome in the future, Surely there will no longer be any of these understatements Hotel Manager

Good place if you have a early flight
I stayed at the hotel for less than 8 hours since I was catching an early morning flight. The room was typical, but the bathroom had been renovated. Wifi was good, noise level was not bad from outside, but there were some noisy guests in adjacent rooms. The hotel shuttle was available even at 4:30a. It's a short, ~5 minute ride to the airport. There are several other hotels adjacent, but nothing else in terms of dining.

The hotel receptionist was wonderful and kind. She was very nice and helped us organize the shuttle in the morning to the airport.

Short drive distance from airport
Very basic hotel with great service. We arrive to the hotel very late due to late flight arrival. The room unfortunately was disappointing, the mattresse was stained and you could see it thru the sheets :( Lack of good curtains or blinds cause bad night, as the room was too bright from early morning. At least the shower was very good with good water pressure and breakfast was fantastic.

Hotel too quiet. Not near anywhere else
Hotel was fine & service ok but too quiet. Hardly anybody there. It is nowhere near anywhere, so nothing to walk out to or eat elsewhere if required.

The service at the front desk was great, as was the pick up service at the airport. But the hotel is a relic from the 1950s. The breakfast was not good at all - a slice of watermelon was actually rancid. Too much breakfast meat and not enough of anything else. The room was clean and fine for what it was - but I have stayed at other airport hotels that were much nicer and more modern.

This is a typical airport hotel - if your flight is at 6:00 am - that is the way to do it. Otherwise, this is a hotel in the middle of nowhere. The only purpose is to be close to the airport in the morning. Service etc are fine.

Convenient for Katowice airport
The main reason I picked this hotel was that it's located some 10 min drive from Katowice airport -- since I had an early flight next morning, it was best to stay overnight at Wilga hotel rather than travel to the airport from a more remote location. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff have been friendly and helpful. The hotel offers the guests airport transfer in their car (free ride from airport to hotel, and a PLN 10 fee for the transfer back), just call them from the airport and you will be picked up. It is in a neighbourhood that looks like a residential area for a former air-force base; nothing exciting.

Good clean hotel at the right price near the airport. Pick up free at any hour, rooms big with TV. The only thing to let it down was lack of coffee making equipment in the room. Will use again.
