The check in was very difficult compared to other hotels in Poland. The shower would only deliver water at a quite hot temperature. That said, breakfast was tasty and the location was very convenient.

The receptionist was not helpful. We needed to make a call, we used the room phone and it didn't work so we went to speak to the reception to use the phone at the reception but she said no. We then requested that they send someone to check the room phone. I left for the room with the techician only to discover the phone was not even plugged. None of the staff apologied for the inconviences and embrassment, so we decided to check out a day before and left for a better hotel.

There was an issue with WiFi but reception girl (30.12.18) was so nice to solve it within 15 minutes and provide us with a new room. She (as well as other receptionists, bartenders and kitchen staff, cleaning ladies) was very polite and always ready to help. We appreciate service provided at the hotel. Highly recommend to stay here! Maybe it is located not so close to the city center as you may wish (however location is really OK) but you'll love hotel facilities, staff, etc.

Guns and roses trip
Chose this hotel for cheapness and quite close to venue of guns and roses concert. Hotel is nice with nice bar area. On arrival the lady on reception appeared quite rude so this was disappointing, she did get better over the course of our time there and other staff were fine. Breakfast wasn’t to our liking so didn’t pay and used McDonald’s over the road. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, shower head didn’t sit properly so had to hold it but that was only problem with room. Would use again but would prob go closer to venue if came to see a concert again here if prices were similar.

Nice hotel with good breakfast buffet. A bit tricky to get to from the centre by public transport though. Food at the hotel restaurant not that great unfortunately.

Comfortable, affordable, and pleasant
A very nice hotel and a nice sized room. A good shower and wifi service. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. My only complaint was the hotel was 7 km from the city centre which made it necessary for me to take taxis twice a day.

Good hotel on border of Poland
Good place to take if your on your way in or out of poland. People were nice, they have private parking under the building and also free parking outside. I went with the private parking, because I didn't know if the location was good or bad. The people that work there were really nice and the resturant down stairs had great food. Breakfast had a good selection.

We came just to see the Auschwitz museum but this hotel was too far. Cab ride was over $50 each way. It was next to a KFC, mcdonalds, and grocery so that was convenient. Room size was good but hard to regulate the temperature. Had to keep opening the window. AC was not so good.

Stayed three nights location if you have transport ideal for Auschwitz and other landmarks. Auschwitz around 40 minute drive but no issues. Meals in hotel were good along with the service of staff. Had swimming pool but did not mange to use.

Multiple bad experiences
Paid for breakfast but were not on the breakfast list so they would not let us sit down and eat, then we got someone to check with reception and eventually got out breakfast. I was charged 42 Zlotys for 2 Paulaner lagers 1 night and the next day checked prices which was only half the price I paid!! Booked a taxi to train station for 7:55 But every other guest got their taxi but us and the staff did not help us as they could see we waited the longest and all taxi drivers said no to our room number, eventually a taxi that had sat there for 30 mins we were told to go in this one, by which point we had missed the 8:30 train. Current construction work on the site, a muddy walk if raining!!!!

Dorm room feeling. Room was cold, even with heat on high. Clean, basic, with free breakfast and internet. No English speaking news channel. Pool only open a few hours, not as posted.

Reasonable price quality match
Hotel located close to highway. It is more than hard to reach hotel as driveway to it is so much hidden and no signs leads to it, although hotel is tall and you can see it, but cannot find a drive way to it. No joke took 15 minutes todrive around in order to find how to reach it. Rooms quite small, but rather clean. So price performance is very good I would say, tried pasta and soup in restaurant and food was delicious.

Clean Comfortable and the Food was excellent, the hotel is near a big shopping centre and has a MacDonalds and KFC very close. The access is through a garage. The Staff were very helpful at all times

Good service
Hotel was in a great location for us as we were attending Tauron music festival. We were given a very clean room on the top floor, although the window would not stay open and the shower leaked badly. When reported we were told we could not change rooms as the hotel was full, but someone was sent up to try to fix it and when they had a look we were immediately given a different room. New room was fine. My suggestion to improve would be to open the wellness centre for longer periods of time as the morning session was too early for us and the evening session was too late as we were always out at the festival.

Hard to find, no heat
Nice enough building, seems to have recently been renovated. Is NOT at address listed -only a sign saying turn around. Note - you have to go through a gas station lot to get there. Cold in room, was told it was no longer heating "season." Breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT, though, and rate was very reasonable. Dinner at restaurant, separate from breakfast area, also very good.

Not very close to the bus stops but...
This hotel was very comfortable! It's near a mall/shopping center, KFC, and McDonalds. It's south of the interstate/autoroute. My room was very comfortable and it was more than I expected for the price I paid. At check in, I asked if the rooms have A/C. The clerk said that my room does, and he pointed to the left (the big building) which is where I stayed. I'm assuming the right building (the small building) may not have A/C. So, before you book, be careful about that part. I stayed on a particularly hot day and my room was VERY comfortable. The only drawback is that the hotel is not centrally located. You must locate the bus stops. 1 is north of the interstate/autoroute and sorta near the hotel (1/4 - 1/2 km from the hotel) The other is right in front of the shopping center/mall. (3/4 - 1 km from the hotel). Other than that, the hotel was great :) Very clean and cool.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel is a good choice for the budget traveler. The rooms are small and simple, but consist of the most important; a comfortable bed, toilet, shower and a small television. Cleaning of room could be better. The hotel serve a high quality breakfast buffet with both cold and hot dishes for 30 Polish Zloty. The hotel is situated a bit out of the city nearby I big shopping center. It is too long to walk to the real heart of Katowice, but it is easy and cheap to take public transport from the hotel to the city centre. All in all the hotel is good value for the money..
