“Hillcrest is up the hill a few minutes walk to downtown, in a very quiet area. The bedroom could use some updating - old curtains, drapes, bedspread, etc. - looks rundown. Bed was comfortable but room was very dusty. The house was just sold to a new owner, so the house is in transition. I do want to comment that the Innkeeper/B&B hosts that live on the property, Kyle and Christy Ann, (not the owners) are extremely nice and helpful.”

“We expected a room with a tub, but the last available room didn’t have one. The room available was very pricey for its size. We decided not to stay. The highlight of our time was interacting with Jenna at the desk, she was extremely kind and very professional. Based on our experience with her we will consider returning on another occasion. We mainly wanted to have one night away, as we live close and our wedding anniversary is this weekend.”

“We had a very weird situation. We checked in on Friday. I should’ve known something was wrong when I tried to sign into the Internet and it did not recognize my room number nor my name. but I discounted it as a glitch. I called down to the desk and they just said sign into public I did and I was connected to the Internet. The next day we left went down, had breakfast and. went to the conference we were attending. When we came home that night we could not get into the room. When we went down to……

“My only complaint is that i didn’t see the emails with the door code, so when i went there, i knocked on the door and waited a bit - no one was at the property. Then for some reason i checked my email while i was waiting and saw the note with the code. It’s not a big deal, but confusing ”

“When we got there the elevator was out of service which we were not told about until after we checked in. With 5 prosthetics in my body that was not good. I had also called two weeks in advance asking for a bottom floor room also close to an exit for our dog. The woman who checked us in was also the same woman I had spoken too weeks before (3/times) put us on the 2nd floor opposite side of the building of the doggy area. After begging with her how not happy we were with our accommodations. She……
