It took me about 30 minutes to find Tyler Street where the Euro Inn is located. There was also a Value Inn about one block from the Euro Inn which further confused the issue.I stopped at the Value Inn several times before someone that I flagged down pointed out this fact to me.The Euro Inn is located one block west of the Value Inn. In addition, even though I did not arrive until mid afternoon the room which I had reserved was not ready. It had to be cleaned.I waited approximately 30 minutes before the room was ready for me. However, the positive side the hotel staff was friendly and responsive. For example,"Sunny" the morning manager/owner of the Euro Inn provided me flatter bed pillows which were more to my liking soon after I requested them. The room was clean and basically quiet.I was concerned about getting an inexpensive yet quiet room/hotel located in the vicinity of the New Orleans area. The Euro Inn fulfilled all of these expectations/ personal desires.

Nice, comfortable, and affordable hotel

Posted May 2, 2017
Location: Great place for tacos and beer in downtown Slidell
This was a nice, comfortable, and affordable stay. It seems like a safe area. It is a bit of an older hotel, but it is kept up very well. The rooms were very clean, large, and spacious. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The people that run the hotel along with the gentleman on the evening shift were very helpful and accommodating.

This is a run-down motel. The fours and fives must be friends and family.

Impromptu Stay

Posted Jan 20, 2017
We traveled from St Louis to New Orleans. Our stay at this hotel was not planned. I booked it last minute and was very pleasantly surprised. The gentleman at the desk was very accommodating and efficient. We were checked in and directed to our room quickly. The room itself was extremely clean and comfortable. I had no complaints about our stay. It is approx 30 mins outside of New Orleans, but the price, comfort and cleanliness definitely made up for that.

good value

the staff was super friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. The shower pressure wasn't enough, towels were not plush, a little scratchy. The room looked newly painted and new vinyl flooring, very clean. There was a fridge and microwave, also clean and nice to have for our food. I would stay at Euro again, the price was very good for a bit more than basic, clean room.
