Older hotel, but clean

Cons: Improve the old facade
Location: New Orleans French Quarter
Perfect for a quick weekend visit. Clean room, nice courtyard, large lobby. Looks better from the inside than the outside

Cons: The rooms were nice & clean but the hotel was clearly older. Parking lot was in bad shape.
Location: Was right in the middle of shopping & restaurants. Very convenient.
Upon arrival we needed to make a change to our reservation. The gentleman checking us in was quick to help and make the necessary changes. Because we went through Expedia it wasn't a quick fix but he got us into our rooms & took care of the details while we got settled. The other staff at breakfast were just as friendly and helpful.

Nothing fancy by any means, but it was a good hotel for a stop on our cross country tour. Carpet in the rooms was a little dirty, but really, what hotel isn't? No pet fees which was great. The breakfast is your typical breakfast bar with bagels, cereal, etc. The only hot item was the waffle maker.

Pleasant stay

Pros: Location
Cons: Spray for Bed bugs, change carpet, clean room
Location: Downtown near by. Cracker Barrel Restaurant next door.
Food under the bed from previous guest. Renovated but not fully, carpets, lighting etc all older.

Nice hotel 30 minute drive to New Orleans. Not bad

My experience at the hotel was pleasant. I did have to ask for towels several times before they delivered them. But the room was ok and the stuff was pleasant when I had to interact with them. For the most part, I didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel...who does that.

Good quality for the money paid.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: The only improvement I would suggest, is more variety on the breakfast. Our choices were limited, especially being on a low carb diet.
Location: New Orleans 30 mins away. Walmart and Cracker Barrel literally next door. Lots of other restaurants in area. Dave and Busters in New Orleans.
We stay at this LaQuinta Inn location everytime we come to New Orleans. It's only 30 miles outside of New Orleans, so it is very convienent. The staff is nice (only talked to desk clerk, but Danielle was really nice). The room was nice. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice having a fridge and microwave in room, if we needed it.
