We booked this hotel for the hot tub. The first two days no key was available for that area, only to find out that didn't matter, the hot tub didn't work anyway.

Really nice room. Really clean. Hard to find though. No sign. And DO NOT CONTINUE down the access road if you drive a big vehicle. It completely dead ends . I had to turn around a 45' long f350 and trailer at the end of it with no place to do it. Not fun especially when you're exhausted

Staff were very friendly, but the pillows were small and lumpy; we were too tired to ask for anything else after a very long day of driving. The facility is clearly older; the shower faucet was broken and almost came out of the wall when we started up the shower. The main reason we booked the hotel was because of breakfast provided and a hot tub. Hot tub hours were not good; closes at 7! Did not get to hotel in time to even use it. Breakfast was ok. Again staff were kind, just was not impressed with the facility.

Staff was very friendly and helpful but maintenence sermed lacking. My first room had a very loud fan on HVAC unit so i had to move to another room where the TV didn’t work. Front desk person had to come to room to reset and rescan TV. No phones in room so it meant 3 trips from 3rd floor to front desk to resolve the issues. It had been a long day of travel so i was definitely not Happy.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Sausage especially good at breakfast. Good location to visit New Orleans and to do a swamp tour (in opposite directions!) Would recommend Vera's Seafood nearby as an excellent seafood restaurant - we ate there 3 nights in a row!

The quality matches the price. Pros: Complimentary breakfast Snacks to purchase in the lobby Hotel Price Mini fridge & microwave Cons: Noise- (the doors slam and are not slow closing doors , so anytime anyone leaves their room there are doors slamming throughout all hours of the night and early morning. Was very hard to get a decent night of sleep). You also hear noises and talking in the hallway very easily. Walls are thin. The AC unit is also extremely loud. Had to turn it off just to be able to sleep Outdated and dirty- the furniture looked like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. My computer chair was broken. My bed looked clean, but the rest of the furniture needed a deep clean

We had a great stay. The hotel is older and a bit worn around the edges, but the staff are nice and the rooms are clean. Rooms are spacious. Only complaint is the thin walls and doors - you can hear everything people say in their rooms when you walk past, and when people walk past your room it sounds like they are in your room! If there were more people staying at the hotel it would not be as nice, so I’m not sure if we would stay again.

Had a great stay @ the La Quinta in Slidell! The staff were great, housekeeping was friendly and the rooms were very clean. Great rates and breakfast included.
