I stayed here with two of my friends in a room that had a large double and a single bed. Absolutely fine, everything was clean and the facilities were good. The breakfast every morning was fantastic. The options included hot food including really nice scrambled eggs and bacon, along with cold items including meats, fruits, bread and pastries. I was worried about the location, however it was ideal as we were away from the heavy traffic tourist areas. Nearby there is a cat cafe, supermarkets , pharmacies and a Spanish tapas restaurant. I would consider staying here again, thank you!

This hotel is tucked away in a peaceful part of Prague, making it a quiet escape with easy access to transportation to the city center. The entire crew at the hotel was great and very helpful. They always provided assistance with a smile. Breakfast was fantastic, with many options. The roof deck was a plus. We would stay at Hotel Julian again!

Lovely little spot
Loved our quick stay here. Amazing and friendly staff and a huge breakfast offering. The terrace was an added bonus and a nice spot to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. 20 min away from the craziness in Old Town, which adds another reason to stay here.

I would stay here again
The hotel is what I would consider a "boutique" hotel. Its located on a small side street around the block from a busier street that has some restaurants, small grocery store, etc. and public tram bus service. Your a short distance from the popular Mala Strana park where you will find Petrins look out tower popular with locals and tourists. The free breakfast is nice and well stocked.The lobby area is quaint with nice decor. Building apparently is around 200 years old. There is a small rooftop open lounge area for chilling with not much of a view but nice for evenings or eating breakfast there. Rooms are nicely remodeled and comfortably furnished. Your just about 4 quick tram stops from where most people enter area and get off for Prague castle or Charles Bridge, which proceeds to "Old Town". I like that it feels like your in a neighborhood that's not in the busy tourist area. A nice mall and metro is just 2 tram stops from hotel in opposite direction. A special shutout to the hotel staff working the front desk area. Always friendly and willing to help with questions relating to public transportation, tourist attractions, local culture etc. This review coming from someone who worked in a customer service type job for 36 years which involved a lot of travel and living out of hotels. .

Fantastic Hotel for all of Prague and beyond!
My partner and I stayed at Hotel Julian for a 4-day break while visiting Prague and the surrounding areas; what a delight of a hotel! The staff were lovely and helped us organise parking (Hotel Julian's was full for one of our evenings but still helped us find an alternative!), gave us awesome food suggestions and were generally exceedingly kind and friendly! The room was clean, well put together and very comfortable and the location was perfect to get around both by Car and by foot; it's a short walk into the New / Old Town where most of the attractions are. It was so well situated we didn't even use public transport (trams / busses) but I think it would still be easy access. On top of that the area was really nice and quiet when you just wanted to get back and collapse as well as feeling very safe! If you are considering a Prague Hotel just book at Julian's!

This hotel was such a refreshing, homey change from the corporate feeling hotels in other cities. The restaurant had outstanding food and the staff was absolutely excellent! We felt so welcome and at home. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Prague.

If you want to walk into a hotel and feel like you are a person that matters then this is the one for you. All of the reception staff especially Petra and the guest relations manager( Ive forgotten his name) were excellent and made you feel very welcome. The hotel itself is full of character and really interesting. it’s comfortable clean and just makes you feel like it’s a nice place to be. Its in a quiet location about 15/20 mins walk from the city centre but on the same side of the river as the castle. We walked it fine although the tram stop is just around the corner and easy to use.

Excellent staff always on duty and responsive to answering questions about city trams and airport taxi. Quiet street near tram for short ride across bridge to National Theatre or walk to historic areas or transfer to another tram for short ride to other theatres and concert halls. Grocery store at tram stop. Hotel breakfast included with lots of choices. Many European TV channels. Rick Steves was right to recommend this hotel.

Often when looking for a hotel with a reasonable price I have found you have to give up something, either comfort, amenities, or helpful staff. This was not so with Hotel Julian. The hotel was so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we have had on our whole trip. The most amazing thing was the staff. Marcella, Petra, Gabriella went out of their way to assist us with other things other than our stay at Hotel Julian. The rest of the staff was very kind and friendly too. I came away feeling like they were friends. We both highly recommend this place.

Friendly service in a quiet location, that is close enough for strolling around to all major points, but removed enough to breathe and get a good nights rest! Service is dedicated and caring about guests needs and enjoyment. Property is well kept. I highly recommend
