Upon arrival we were greeted by not only a very friendly bellhop, but also front desk personnel. We were greeted with wash cloths and a signature island beverage. As we arrived earlier than check in, guest relations supervisor Cole gave us a grand tour of the property to pass time. Immediately we felt at home as it seemed the hotel offered everything we were looking for. Cole was sure to give us all options in terms of amenities and also make us feel comfortable with asking him any questions about not only the property, but the island in general. The ocean view room offered tranquility that can't be matched! A beautiful sunrise every morning, and a partial sunset in the evening. In wanting to explore the island, we dined out the first night. The second day, we decided to dine in and realized there was no need to eat else where! The food was served in large portions and was TOP NOTCH, not something you usually find at resorts. Gihan and his staff Shay, Carla, Taj, and the crew not only gave food recommendations but went above and beyond giving first class hospitality treatment. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you truly cannot go wrong. We know Horseshoe Bay Beach is said to be one of the prettiest in Bermuda, but after experiencing the private pink sand beach at The Loren, there was no desire to travel to Horseshoe Bay. If you're looking for a small quiet, peaceful, scenic, resort away from the commercial district, this is the resort for you.
