“Was told I received a complimentary upgrade at check-in when I originally booked a room with a King and our so called “complimentary upgrade” was a room with two queens. I would’ve complained had we not stayed in places with separate beds before. There was a wedding party there and when they returned after the wedding in the evening, they were quite drunk and disorderly yelling through the halls. The walls were very thin. Could hear our neighbors consistently. Was disappointed that the floors……

“Because of the humidity our room felt damp over the days we were staying. The house keeping staff were great and conscientious of tidying up the room and refreshing the supplies in the bath area including the facial tissues. Noise was never an issue considering our room faced the street and several receptions occurred during our visit. The atmosphere was both relaxing and therapeutic to the spirit. So nice that when we checked out, we booked a future stay weeks in advanced. Looking forward to……

“Delicious breakfast. Clean quiet room. We were on the 3rd floor so we did hear thump thump thump but before it got too late, that stopped and we slept all night without issue. Kitchen was awesome. We came to town for oceans calling and picked this place because it was highly reviewed (much better than the yuck of last year) and even though the festival was cancelled, my daughter and I enjoyed her birthday here with silly movies , uno and dollar tree face masks. In other words, we still had fun……

“This hotel has been thoughtfully updated, and our room was comfortably planned and furnished. The simple breakfast was surprisingly varied, considering the size of the hotel, and the staff were friendly and very supportive. The hotel is close to the entrance to the National Wildlife Refuge, and has the Museum of Chincoteague Island on one side, and the Blackfin restaurant on the other. I’m almost cringing at the thought of others being there when we want to go …. but they deserve all the……

“This is an older mom&pop type motel, one story, quiet setting and very convenient to town, beach, etc. Feels like old school Chincoteague. It is in process of some updating with new owners. Bed is comfortable, nice TV with an on screen guide. No vending machines (snacks), no daily housekeeping altho linen exchange is easy.”

“Nice and quiet. Super quick check in. Will stay again.”

“Checked out of property after one night due to severe storm predicted. Manager refused to refund the next two nights fee paid in advance. Property was somewhat adequate but old and needed significant updating. Couldn’t use the only amenity which was the pool as it wasn’t heated and weather was too poor.”
