Beautiful view

Quiet lodge on the mountain side of snowmass village. Heated pool and hot tub outside which we didn't use but it looked nice.

Great location.

Posted Aug 13, 2017
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing.
This hotel is close to Aspen. They provide a free shuttle into town which takes you into the heart of all the shops and close to the gondola ride up the mountain. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the views extraordinary. Snowmass also has a shopping area with restaurants within walking distance.

Fantastic place, fantastic location

Posted Jul 23, 2017
Pros: Everything
Location: Snowmass mall, discovery museum, shuttle bus to Aspen and other snowmass spots, gondola to the base of main snowmass gondola.
I chose to stay in Snowmass because Aspen was way too expensive and I chose this lodge purely based on the price as it was cheaper. When I reached here, I was pleasantly surprised because the room was very neat & comfortable, we had a perfect view of swimming pool and the mountains, the snowmass mall and bus station were just opposite to this lodge and it was very convenient to move in and out. Plus the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast room was nice too, with sofa sets, magazines and games for children. You could roam around in the snowmass mall, eat, visit Discovery Museum, and take a small free gondola ride to the base station of main Snowmass gondola. From the bus station, you could get shuttles to Aspen every 30 min. until 2am in summers. You need to change the bus at the junction of 82 and Brush creek rd and its safe to travel in the night. The only thing missing was AC in the room and there was a reason for it. It is not needed for most of the year, so they dont have ACs. Guests are advised to keep windows open for fresh air and they provide fan in the room. The windows have mesh on the outside so its safe. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Fantastic Lodge Next to Snowmass Mall

Posted Jul 21, 2017
Pros: We enjoyed all aspects of our stay.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Perfect location within central Snowmass.
We had and absolutely wonderful time at this hotel/lodge. It's situated perfectly for exploring Snowmass and the staff made the visit extra special, thinking of things we didn't even ask for! Super clean, nice breakfast, and family friendly. Highly recommended.

Clean, tidy, perfect for families!

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness and staff.
Cons: Nothing--great the way it is!
Location: Hiking, canoeing, Maroon Bells, Aspen - lots available by bus.
This hotel is situated adjacent to the Snowmass Mall and is an excellent location for exploring Snowmass from a central spot. The Pokolodi was very tidy and clean and the staff went overboard to accommodate out questions and a request for extra towels for the pool. We will be back!

Cute hotel in a great lovation

No AC made for a hot stay in the summer, but the fan that was provided and keeping the window open at night helped. Beautiful location right on snowmass mountain and snkwmass village mall. Swimming and relaxing near the pool was unbeatable with amazing views. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Bathroom and shower were small, but do-able. The room was nice and clean. A great bang for your buck if you're staying in Aspen. I recommend purchasing the perfect summer pass through Aspen Highlands if you're there during the summer. Beautiful place, we had a GREAT time and made memories that we will cherish forever!

Close to the lifts

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a night and we weren't that impressed with it. First of all there was no A/C in the room; it was 90+ while we were staying there so it would have been nice to know the rooms did not have A/C. The rooms were very outdated as was the whole facility. There was a small coffee maker in the room but no cups. The rooms did have a small refrigerator in them which was nice. The staff was very polite and helpful, but the facilities were incredibly outdated.

I am very sorry that your stay with us was less than satisfactory. Unfortunately most of the hotels in Snowmass Village do not have A/C, additionally on all of our third party websites it is CLEARLY listed in our policies that all of our rooms do NOT have A/C. Also the building may be older than most, but it is not outdated, and all of our rooms were fully renovated in the fall of 2015. I hope that this doesn't deter you from staying with us in the future, and for future reference voice these complaints with us at the front desk PRIOR to checking out so we can do whatever necessary to better accomodate you.

We found this hotel because hotels in Aspen is very expensive. Although we just arrived late in the evening and leave 5am in the morning. We have a good impression with the facility. I hope we would stay longer.
