Presentation VisitPosted May 13, 2016 on Hotels
Had to go to a presentation at the university and it was nice to have a nice clean room plus quiet to get a good nice night's rest.

Great for pricePosted May 2, 2016 on Hotels
Initially I thought it looked really ghetto, the microwave and fridge looked like it was from the 70's. The beds were hard but shoe polish and makeup remover in bathroom was a plus. The pool area was great and breakfast was wonderful. Super disappointed the fitness facility was nothing like the picture, it only has 2 treadmills and a bike no machines to actually work out on. The gentleman at front desk was wonderful and overall very good stay for the price.

Medium price motel for short term staysPosted Apr 12, 2016 on Orbitz
Medium price motel working to raise the overall experience. Very good breakfast. Could up date cooling system to maintain a more even level of comfort.

Best Western Socorro: Mediocrity.Posted Apr 7, 2016
Pros: Location in New Mexico (Socorro was our destination).
Cons: Breakfast. Furniture.
Location: Golf. Green-chili cheeseburgers. Not much else.
No huge issues, surprises, or gigantic disappointments. The bed is comfortable, the room is large and adequate, the building is aging, the furnishings are getting ragged. Best Western usually does much better than this. However, it isn't clear that other hotels in Socorro are any better. (Socorro itself isn't a much of a prize since the local megastore has caused the city's commercial district to fall apart. Very few local shops are still in business.)

OK hotelPosted Apr 5, 2016 on Hotels
Hotel was OK for one night. Staff was very nice. Room was fine but no soundproofing. When the people in the room above walked across the floor of their room it woke us up.
