Check in is different from an American chain so plan ahead to be in hotel restaurant by 20:00, or make easy arrangements. The room was so quaint and beautiful. Breakfast was so traditional. I loved it. I've missed Kalmar and it was good to make a visit back and stay at this lovely place. "

I can’t emphasize enough how welcoming the staff was. I will definitely be staying at Slottshottelet next time I visit Kalmar. It truly felt like a home away from home."
