Very inappropriate staff

First, I called the front desk if i could have a shampoo and conditioner. He said, yes i should get it in the lobby. I am shocked cause its in the middle of the night, its a long walk to the lobby. I just cant believe, the hotel only offers afforable rate but not giving customer satisfaction. I also worked in a hotel before, we want our guest to be comfortable and offer the services the best we could. I thought a housekeeper or any staff from the hotel will hand it over me in my room.
Second, As I'm about to check out, I approach the chinese lady in the front desk that Im just gonna wait for my boyfriend because he has the other key card. The front desk said I dont have too, it's only in asia that when you check out you have to return your key card. I mentioned to her that I'm a filipino and wherever I go in asia I am used to giving back the key cards. Then she said "Oh you're a filipino" I cannot put into words on how she describe our president. She said something bad about my president in the Philippines and obviously because of the headlines that is going on in my mother country. I am not mad, but I'm just upset. I believe that topics like that shouldn't brought up to your guest, it is very very inappropriate.
