Stay away from this property. Elevator was not working. When asked, the front desk was irresponsible. They are not sure when the elevator will be back up and they book my room on 4th floor. They except customers pay for walking to 4th floor.. rediculous.

The elevator is out of service and you were expected to walk up and down flights of stairs since there were no rooms available on the first floor.

The comforter had stains on them, looked like paint or something. I slept with no comforter because I was too grossed out to even ask for another one. The room had no thermostat and the temperature was either really hot or really cold. The bathroom did not look like the images online. It looked like someone took a bite out of the corner of the bathroom mirror as it was all chipped and uneven. The shower curtain didn't even shut all the way which was not comfortable either. The only reason I give it a 1 is because the lobby was nice, that is about it.

This hotel was convenient for our weekend stay for my son’s soccer tournament. It was really close to the field and restaurants were nearby. Facility was clean and staff was friendly. The only thing I did not like was that the heater/ac made a loud noise and I was not able to stop it.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Decent towels and plenty of them. Cons: Many sockets didn't work. TV worked but volume would go up and down on its own and the socket had a short so the TV would go on and off. Also, lots of construction noise that started very early in the morning. They stopped breakfast before the posted time. We got there just before 9 and everything was cleaned up and gone. Also, the heaters are very loud and the one in the bedroom knocked all night long. It was an average stay, but not worth the $122 we paid.

The overnight staff who checked us in was great. The very next day the toilet stopped and I contacted the front desk to request maintenance. She said someone would be right up. An hour later I called back to see what the delay was and I was informed that she messaged him “on the walkie” and thought he came but he “checked out” and clocked out for the night. Had I not called back I would have been stuck in the room with my teenage son without the ability to use our bathroom.

Comfort Inn stay , Newark, NJ
We stayed for 3 days, the room was clean and cosy, the cleaning lady came everyday to clean the room. The only negative is that sometimes we heard people using their washrooms or shower noise. Overall satisifed.

It took and hour for check in I stood in that line for an hour with others behind us because the staff put up a sign to wait 10 minutes because they were solving other problems behind the desk and they never went to clean my room even when I asked.

Hotel was ok. Nice and quiet. Area around hotel also quiet . Room was ok bed was comfortable but no matter which way you moved it made a lot of noise. Hallways are kind of dark. The bathroom needs updating, looks very old, the water pressure was great I asked for a non smoking room but it reeked of cigarettes, the elevator was also dirty. Breakfast was included and it was ok.

Price was great. Location was great. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was filling and plentiful. Hotel is 10 minutes from everything. Great hotel for a work trip. If you want higher end showers, this is not the place.

The room is very comfortable, clean and quite. All the staff are helpful, friendly, and professional. I usually patronize the Marriott brand and this is my first Comfort Inn. I am definitely a fan! I will definitely book my next stay with a comfort Inn brand.
