My worst Valentine’s day ever

What made this visit there an especially worst Valentine’s day ever, was the treatment of the morning staff, plastic on the walls and That breakfast was served in a room that we had to walk pass all the construction to get into. The hot meal was not hot but instead very cold and uneatable. I asked to have a last check out because we got in late and we needed to get a little more sleep before heading out. I was told No they can only give me an extra 30 min. I said “oh wow ok” and walked away. I said to my husband we have only 30 mins let’s make the best of it and head to the pool since we would not be able to sleep. While in the pool for maybe 15 mins. One the staff members tells us we have 15 mins to get out because they’re are going to do some work on the first floor. We said ok we get out and my husband went to ask at the front desk again if she don’t mind to please extend our check out for a little longer. This is because of all of the inconveniences we had experienced so far. They said “No” my husband said “can I ask why?” she said “because there was too many people with late checkouts already”. My husband said to her “and is there any reason to why we cannot?” and her respond was “I already gave you my answer” (with a rude attitude). My husband said ok no problem and asked for her name and she provide him with her card. This was the worst time I ever had in a hotel ever in my life. I would never go back nor recommend this hotel to anyone I know.
