There were brown stains on the walls in the bathroom and skids in the toilet. Had to request soaps for the bathrooms and there wasnt even any in the kitchen either.

The chemical smell in the room was so bad, I had to crack the door hoping to circulate the air. People were loud and walking around all night. I would not stay here again.

I like that it's like an apartment and if you don't want to eat out you can always cook. If you have people come in from out of town you can always recommend this hotel. I love how much space you have to walk around and have company.

It’s a shame
No soap,shampoo,and conditioner. The TV in bed room was missing. Waited 20 min for guy at front desk after his cell phone in the back. Love the place but staff has fallen down hard

Bad condition
Room was not in good conditions. Bathtub is corroded and stained. Carpet was stained. Room was smelly like old burnt oil. Surroundings outside of the room/building were not good, for example rubbish in front of the door, grass was not cut properly, very old fire extinguisher corroded which probably doesn’t work.

Our room was infested with flying small bugs (not gnats) and we found a ziplock bag fulll of smelly ham in one of the bedrooms! I took video of the bugs and took the bag of ham to the front desk. The manger was amazing with how she handled the situation. She didn’t make excuses but apologized and took a few dollars off my bill. I stay here often as my nephew plays football at Rutgers and never faced any problems before. The staff are always accommodating and helpful.

Overall the property was very nice. The only thing I wasn't happy with is housekeeping closes at 3pm and check-in isnt until 4pm so if you need anything after check-in you aren't able to get it until morning. We had no shampoo in ine bathroom and no body soap in the other. Things that we couldnt easily get from housekeeping because they were closed.

The floor is dirty, bad experience
I was brought my kids and friends stay 2 nights Saturday and Sunday in Sonesta. They did not clean on Sunday, but it was ok.but at least bright some clean towels for us. They asked for Monday early morning like 8 for clean the room. We said not now , and he asked when we will check out. The reception called me 8:32 AM, want to fix it. They want to kick us out. The room was so dirty, feel like they is not clean the floor. and the gas stove was so dirty either. I would like to bring my kids every summer in Sonesta in different location. This is the worst experience I had it.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we did. Our extended stay property does not do daily service. Full cleans are done every 7 days but we do have refreshes which will take out the trash and supply you with towels. I am sorry for the misunderstanding in the morning of your departure as check out is at 11am. We will with our team to ensure that they are more aware when servicing the rooms that are checking out.

My kids and I woke up with bites in our body. I think the beds are infested with bed bites. I also have to buy febreze. The room is smelling like curry. It is very disappointing

We did check and have the room inspected and there is negative activity for bugs in the room you were occupying. Being an extended stay we do not service our rooms daily. They have people that actually live on this property so if checkout is at 12 and the people that live there start running at 6:58 am is terrible! I don’t understand why they don’t put all the people that are there long term on the same side in the same buildings but I know I wouldn’t stay there again when I go to a hotel I expect to be sleeping in not being up at 6:58 ready to go home !

Sweet stay in these suites!
Super convenient suites. Kitchen and fridge worked out great. Small issue with the garbage disposal but it didn’t effect the stay. Pool was nice and clean, plenty of towels. Areas outside to sit and relax. We had friends visit for dinner and enjoyed the patio area. Super friendly staff was always accommodating for us.

I did not know we had to do a 250.00 deposit which we had to scrap up after driving 10 hours. Luckily we were surprising my son for his birthday and he helped out. Once in the room one of the bathroom’s shower did not work and the stopper for the tub would not go down. The room did not have the pots and pans we needed or extra bedding for the pullout couch. When we went up front and asked for the extra bedding and ice the person at the desk had a hateful attitude.

As long as there are not damages or fees that were incurred during your stay it will get released within 72 business hours after your stay. This depends on your bank. I have also passed your feedback along to our staff to ensure we are assisting all our guests.
