I stayed at the Waverley for 2 nights as I had a job interview locally. Upon arrival, I was greeted very warmly by Ian, one of the owners. Lovely bloke, full of info about the local area, showed me to my room, told me everything I needed to know, including where to find the wifi code & left me to it. Room was very clean & neat as were the bathrooms. Ian mentioned he had opened the windows earlier in the day as it was hot which I thought was very thoughtful. The B&B is in a quiet area which as a light sleeper, I appreciated. It's a 2 minute walk to the seafront so nice & close to shops, the beach & other amenities such as the bus stop. I had a comfortable nights sleep followed by one of the best cooked breakfasts I've ever had. I met Michael, Ian's brother at breakfast. Another lovely bloke, very friendly & top marks for remembering my breakfast preferences on the second morning. I had to leave early to go home on the second morning & I really appreciate the guys having breakfast ready for me a bit early. As soon as I sat down, a pot of tea was put in front of me swiftly followed by my cooked breakfast. Brilliant service. Lovely welcoming hosts, clean & tidy, good location & great food.
