Hotel was clean, safe and comfortable, but in need of update. It had a tired feeling to it. Bathtub/shower old and tile work crumbling. Worn out are the best words to describe it.

Stay for the Boston Marathon weekend. Free breakfast served daily and even earlier on marathon day. Hotel conveniently located next to Assembly Row. Lots of shops and dining options. The T was a 5 min walk and ~25 min ride to downtown Boston. Staff was great but hotel was very dated an old. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet.
Construction everywhere and the roads are all torn up. The hotel is very dirty. The mirror had someone’s name carved into it. There was mold in the bathroom.

We just had a quick stay here after a late night flight arrival. Very convenient from the airport. Staff was very nice. Rooms are not fancy but clean and quiet.
We were very unhappy with the king sized beds. We booked 2 overnight stays in Boston before and after our trip to Ireland. Both king beds sagged in the middle. Very uncomfortable.
I would not recommend this hotel.
Property was in a good location for leaving your car and getting around Boston. The T stop was walking distance and parking at the hotel is free. There was lots of construction going on in the vicinity, which made the surrounding area a bit dismal. The hotel needs a little love. It's definitely dated and a bit dingy. That said, it was clean and beds were comfortable.
While the staff was very friendly and helpful the hotel was very unwelcoming. The elevator was full of graffiti and dirty. Our room was not very clean the sink did not drain.
The next-door construction vehicles blocked the entrance to La Quinta ( I realize that's out of the hotel's control, but it was still a nuisance.)
When we arrived at check-in, we were told our room had been given to someone else...(how does that happen!) All was eventually sorted and we received a similar room.

The bathroom had mold and some red spots on bathroom floor.
Our stay is ok. We liked that its walking distance to Assembly Row and has free breakfast and parking. However, hotel needs major facelift. Elevator has writings/graffiti. Bed comfort is ok, bathroom needs extra cleaning. A little walk outside the hotel has several abandoned shopping carts. Staff also must be more observant on people loitering in the lobby, people in and out of hotel during breakfast making the hotel’s security has a feeling of being compromised for guests. Also, put a password on wifi.
Friendly staff allowed us to check in early, Spacious and clean bedroom with 2 Queen beds, free laundry, free daily breakfast, 24/7 hot water and coffee, easy check in and out, affordable hotel, close to train station and shopping, highly recommended
The property needs a lot of updating. The room 324 I stayed in has a strong dirty socks smell but I think it’s probably dog smell, which is still very bad.

Sketchy location, but that isn't the hotel's fault. The faciltiy itself could use a facelift. The building main, and room seemed quite dated. Room temperature was good. Beds were average - fine. The walls were paper thin, and sadly my 9yo and 11yo got to listen to the neighbors yap until midnight each night.

Most of the employees were pleasant and welcoming. The property needs some care and updating. The elevator was worn-out and dingy with scratches. We had two King size rooms for one night for an appt at Tufts Medical the next day. One room was OK, but the second one was in desperate need of attention. There was nothing to put in the coffee...just the coffee, no sweetener or creamer. The shower head was leaking, the fridge seemed extremely old with no freezer compartment and there was no microwave. My son needed these things to keep his meds and dietary requirements safe and accessible. When I asked the front desk to either switch his room or to at least bring a microwave to the room. The response was, "We don't guarantee these things for our rooms. After unpacking, my son and I switched rooms which was a hassle after driving all day to get there. All that being said, it was not too expensive and conveniently located, right off the interstate with free parking.

The hotel was a bit old. The elevator creaked and there was a lot of graffiti scratched into it. The staff were pleasant and checked us in early on arrival. What was unpleasant was how loud the AC was and how wet the carpet in the room was when we got there. We all decided since we were 2 hours early, we wouldn’t complain, but the carpet didn’t dry until the next morning. Definitely wouldn’t stay there again unless there were no other options.

For the price in the Boston area, you can't do much better than this. Close to shopping, parking included, and close to the T as well. A little outdated, and some repairs could be done. The vent fan in the bathroom kept getting blown open, which was pretty loud, but we have no complaints otherwise! We'll be staying again for sure
