Very nice and comfortable. Nice break while traveling between Oslo and Bergen.
Beautiful hotel but not near any shop or sights. No bus service so u need to drive. Food was excellent and the staff were great
This is a comfortable hotel with stunning views across the Drammensfjord. I am sure the hotel comes into its own in the summer, but this was January and very much in the off-season. Son Marina is a good spot to spend a few hours.
If you haven't heard of Vestby, where it is located, you're probably familiar with the country's capital, Oslo, from which it is 25 miles.
There's really only one place to reserve a room if you're hoping to stay near Son Marina, and that's the Son Spa. It's 0.8 miles away.
Want to begin the day with a caffeine boost? Son Bryggerhus (Sagaveien 80, Son) offers up treats and coffee to drained tourists and sharp locals. And when the day fades, head to Son Kro - Bar & Restaurant (Storgata 31, Son). It's just 0.4 miles away.
