We're sorry you didn't have a great time. We provide tissues upon request. Because we're a country inn on septic, we can't have tissues down the plumbing. We have a cookie contest every year and those cookies won the first year. Guests submit recipes and other guests judge them and choose. They're quite good. If you'd asked or if I'd noticed that they were gone, I'd have refilled it.

Please let us know during your stay what we can do to see that you have a 5-star stay. I'm sorry if we didn't meet your expectations.

We did tell you we would charge you when you showed up with an extra person without any prior notification. The rate shown on your receipt was our "net" rate after Expedia's commission - a fact I explained to you at the time. We have no idea what Expedia charges for our rooms, only what they pay us. I'm sorry you were disappointed. Again - we told you when you checked in that there would be a charge for an additional person. Our standard rate for extra people is $50. It's not just for breakfast, but for the wear and tear that additional people take on the grounds. Your son was ill-behaved, running around yelling, opening other guests' rooms, entering our private areas, etc. while you payed attention to your friends, not the child. If anyone is passive aggressive in this story, it's you.
