I’ve never experienced a more friendly and polite staff. They were polite and caring in every way. From baggage delivery, to room assignment, the Spa salon staff, we felt catered to in every way. Thank you Staff! You made our weekend great.

Best Western is nicer

This is a Fairmont isn’t it. So disappointing. First impression was from the staff. They were very accommodating. No problems until housekeeping knocking on our door at 8:30 this morning. We only stayed 1 night. How about waiting until we checked out or were at least out of bed. We got the deluxe room with a fireplace. Bonus it was a real wood burning fireplace. Only the fire never raged past the burlap sack containing the wood. Just smoldered until it was gone. Found the fireplace channel which was much better. However the TV was placed at a 45 degree viewing angle from the center of the bed. The TV wasn’t on a swivel mount. Awkward There was no bathtub only a large shower with the fixtures mounted crooked. We bought bread/olives/cheese/ crackers etc to have a little snack in our room only there was no proper table to eat off of - only a small desk. We had to put the spread on the bed. Sparsely and dated decor. Sonoma is nice and the staff was helpful. We are locals who like getting away in wine country for a night or 2 all the time. WON’T stay here again.

HAD A WONDERULL TIME CELEBRATING OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. WE ENJOYED THE VERY RELAXING SPA SERVICES WITH VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. WE BECAME FRIENDS WITH SOME PEOPLE AT THE WINERIES DURING OUR WINE TASTING IN THE AREA .

Rooms are extremely small and we only received two towels in the bathroom

Over priced with good snob appeal

Pros: The location
The room was very small, as was the bathroom. Hardly any space around the bed and very few places to put things in the bathroom. More than necessary room in the closet. The hotel staff were OK, but the feeling that they felt everyone there should be wealthy and snobbish was disappointing. It was like being in a club house but not a member. The restaurant was ridiculous with wine by the glass going for $30 to $60. The lobby was uncomfortably cold.

Absolutely breath taking grounds and service.
