Loved this place. Great sheets, great room, great facility. Will stay here again for sure! Walked to Sonoma square every night for dinner, shopping, coffee. Hotel staff is the best!

Very pleasant stay, beautiful grounds.

Pros: Open lobby, inviting bar, fireplaces. On-demand shuttle from/to hotel to/from town center.
Cons: A bit pricey.
Location: Located near town plaza where there are shops and restaurants, most particularly The Girl and the Fig!
Pleasant overnight stay with family, close to downtown area where we went for Thanksgiving dinner.

A little boring, but all together nice place

Pros: Nice hot tub, and lobby
Cons: Keep the hot tub open longer
Location: Hotel has a shuttle to Sonoma square
Clean and comfortable hotel with a nice lobby, hot tub, and grounds. Stayed in a cottage room with fireplace - the room was clean and felt new, but rather dark. Staying in Sonoma, I would have preferred a place that looks out onto Vineyards or the surrounding area and has more light. Very old school tv with only cable channels and $18 movie rentals (no netflix, on demand, etc.) No complaints on the size or condition, was just a little boring as you would expect from a corporate hotel.

Nice but not worth the procd

Nice stay for the most part prior but was very concerned about the lack of managerial communication in the midst of the fires. The resort staff, bless their hearts were doing the best they could but it was very apparent that there was no one in charge during an emergency situation. No communication efforts were proactively made and an emergency plan for some degree of communication,be it email or text would have been very helpful. As we departed thanks to friends calling us very early on Monday 10/9 we could see fire on the mountain tops as we exited the resort. There were embers that had started small fires as we made our second turn to escape. When you pay nearly $1400 for less thank 36 hours at a resort you should have an expectation that in he midst of a crisis they will have utilized some of these exorbitant funds to train their people properly. Unfortunately, these fees are primarily greed driven. We met so many good, hard working people in Sonoma I hope that these employers take some of those profits and support their people when they need it most and when the resort reopens I hope they train them properly.

Nice but Terribly Overpriced hotel in Sonoma

Nice hotel overall, but terribly overpriced for what you get. Basically just a plain hotel room that was as expensive as a room in a top notch hotel in Aspen during ski season. There were no lights above the mirror in the bathroom, so my wife had to use a flashlight to put on her makeup. Additionally, the air conditioning sounded like a gun shot when it came on, waking us up numerous times each night. The coffee maker in the room was terrible as was the coffee provided in the room. There was no coffee available for guests in the lobby in the morning, with the guests having to wait for the lobby coffee shop to open to buy a cup. Even Motel 6 provides coffee for the guests in the lobby in the morning!

Great place. Great time. Perfect proximity to town. 1 Mile. Walk or take the shuttle.

Great lodge hotel near centre of Sonoma

We were in Sonoma for a wedding, we hadn't realised we would enjoy our hotel so much! Great staff, kids loved the pool area. Try to avoid annex though as it's close to roads.

A good place to stay in Sonoma

Pros: The room for the 3 of us was a good size, and the pool was perfect to relax around.
Location: On day 1 we visited the Redwoods and the Russian Valley wineries. Day 2 we went to the coast. Day 3 we took a bike tour of wineries close to Sonoma.
The hotel is nicely laid out and feels roomy. No problem parking. The pool area and terrace are good. The restaurant is good though its a pricey breakfast. The location is perfect, on the hotel shuttle bus its about 5 minutes to the town center where there is a abundance of restaurants and bars, and its an easy drive in the day to all the wineries!
