We loved our stay at Cinnamon Bear Creekside Inn! We stayed in the cottage, it was small but just enough for a couple, had everything we needed and very clean. They had lovely outdoor spaces to relax as well. Great staff and great food. Would highly recommend to others!

The bed came stained, and there was like one squirt of handsoap in the bathroom and a nearly empty bottle of shampoo in the shower. Not well maintained. Staff was nice, they provided a dog bed in our room for my service animal, but the room was not in good shape. On top of that, someone was controlling our ceiling fan and lights from another room, honestly thought this place was haunted, but then the front desk woman sounded like she knew of the issue. Also, they tried to add an additional charge not agreed upon as I walked in the space. Just not a good feeling about this place after that experience.

My wife and I booked two nights at Cinnamon Bear Creekside Inn while attending my son’s wedding on the weekend of September 3-5. Excellent experience in a very homey atmosphere. Accommodations were quite comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend the Cinnamon Bear Creekside Inn while staying in Sonoma!

We loved the bed: sheets, mattress, comforter. The outdoor patio was lovely. However, fence needs repairing. A large branch fell from a tree near us. Thank God we weren’t near it. Hostess Alicia was very nice and accommodating. There was construction being done during happy hour and we had to go outside to talk. Enjoyed the little Asian pies. Breakfast was delicious. Difficult to get into parking lot and was not sidewalk friendly. Overall, for the price, we wouldn’t recommend it.

nice stay, but floors were dirty
we had a great stay. the only complaint i had - when my husband walked barefoot on the floor of our room, his feet turned BLACK. they clearly didn't mop it, must have been for a long time. there was also a centipede in our room - but that is probably not anyone's fault. the breakfast in he morning was charming. we enjoyed our stay overall, and were just in town for one night.

It's Sonoma, so prices are higher than avg, but this property was tired and furnished in early "swap meet". Parking was also a problem, as the property is located on a very busy road with insufficient safe parking spaces for guests, Bkft was adequate, but not "B&B special". For the $200/n fee, we could have done better at a mid-price chain motel.

I’m glad rooms are getting some attention with much needed bathroom upgrades. The Ellington was a nicely appointed room with a large bathroom and bedroom. However, I do think there is some room for improvement with the breakfast service. I would suggest serving stronger and more flavorful coffee. Also, I would recommend serving freshly squeezed orange juice, larger food portions and would definitely refrain from serving stale, pre-packaged Honey Buns. The morning staff could be more engaging with guests - once the breakfast was brought out we really didn’t see them after that. Perhaps it would also be good to ask the staff to adhere to a dress code as well. But just my two cents. The Inn is located in a beautiful location and I know a lot of guests will be excited to visit Sonoma. We thank you for your hospitality during our stay.

This was the perfect way for a solo, relaxing vacation! The staff was so kind and took amazing care of us! The breakfasts were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The social hope was such fun; I would up exchanging phone numbers with the other guests. I miss the inn now that I’m home!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cinnamon Bear. The property is under new ownership, and she's working hard to make it a wonderful stay. The breakfast is spectacular. You better be hungry. We also enjoyed the afternoon winetastings.

The place was not in the best condition. Our room had an uncomfortable bed and the air conditioning did not work. The stairs to the second floor were very steep and not recommended for anyone with disabilities. We would not stay there again.

We happened to have the smallest room/bathroom on the property, and it was a little tight at times, but I saw some of the other rooms which looked roomier and had much larger mor modern bathrooms. The hosts, breakfasts and happy hours were all wonderful. Our bed and pillows were comfortable , and overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Great Value! We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff. We also enjoyed the included breakfast and wine and cheese that was offered. We walked into the sonoma plaza. it took about 15 to 20 minutes and was a nice walk.

The manager, Karen is generous, caring and loves to coook and host. Her yummy spread is the centerpiece of the nighty wine receptions for the guests. The breakfasts were also scrumptious.The slightly run down property has potential to be an desirable destination. The rooms need renovations including larger, modern bathrooms and better matresses. Cinnamon Bear is only minutes walk from downtown Sonoma and close to many restaurants and wineries.

My wife and I spent our 5yr wedding anniversary at this quaint and cozy bed and breakfast. The place itself is well situated in town & centrally located to so many different things to do. We had an absolutely amazing time & the hosts Larry & Karen were phenomenal. They really care about trying to take care of each and every one of their guests to the best of their ability & are so very thoughtful. We enjoyed spending a relaxing time and chatting the evenings away with Larry, Karen, & their furry companion Bo.

We loved the people at the Cinnamon Bear. Karen, Larry, and Alexandria work very hard. Very cheerful and pleasant. We really enjoyed the Happy hour with the other guests with the wine and food they provided. Breakfast was amazing both days. The icing on the visit had to be Bo the dog. He was just a treasure.

this was the most bizarre experience. At 8:15 pm I wanted to take a shower. Could not figure out how to get shower to turn on. I called the cell number given on the check in form and just got an answering machine. I went into the Bed And Breakfast lobby. On the left was a widely open door (with their dog going in and out) that led into a sitting room with a TV on. I was not sure if this was private or public area so I just stuck my head through the door and called "hello, is anyone there" . After a bit there was a string of curses (!!!) which came through an inner door. Remember this is not late, it is now 8:20 at night. The curses went on for a while then a male voice said "Goddamn it what is the problem" . I explained that I couldn't get the shower to turn on. Another string of curses then he said he was coming and all went silent. I retreated to the front door. After 10 minutes and no appearance, I again went to the door to the living area and called out "hello, are you coming?" which was responded with another "well, goddamn"...more curses..then "just wait, I was asleep and have to get up at 4 to cook your goddamn breakfast". Wow. And breakfast is not until 8:30 in the morning...He finally appeared and he got the shower running. Turns out you had to pull the handle really hard straight out to get water to go on. I have never been sworn at like that. Both he and his wife drank a lot of wine during happy hour so there may be a alcohol problem. The breakfast was great.

I am sorry for your unpleasant experience. I was in the shower and Larry had been asleep for a while. We tried to accomodate you the best we could. You refused any assistance. I appologize for that. Please understand we are humans also, need our rest and relaxation. We are not a chain hotel, we close at 6pm, if you do not know how to run a faucet I think that is on you. Not us or the hotel.
