Great place to stay!

Posted Nov 9, 2016
Location: Great shopping and restaurants nearby.
This facility, while old, you would never know it. Our room was spacious and comfortable and everywhere we went look nice. Service was wonderful and the staff was very professional. It is also a great location close to shopping, restaurants and wineries. I would highly recommend the Flamingo to anyone visiting the area.

Ok, but loud.

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Pros: Comfortable beds. Nice hot tub. Otherwise it was just okay.
Cons: Loud, the walls are very thin and the hallways smell like weed and smoke.
Location: Near wineries

Thank you JS for your very valuable feedback. We take smoking of anything very seriously at Flamingo. We charge $200 for each instance. We're very sorry you experienced the smell. We are sorry your room was loud. We'd love to put you in one of our Executive King Rooms where we think it could have been much quieter for you.

Front lobby and staff, friendly and clean...

Posted Nov 6, 2016
Location: Safari West was amazing!
The Hallways, and room had a very unpleasant mildew, wet dog smell. Absolutely would recommend going to eat anywhere else instead of hotels restaurant.(staff were rude and unpleasant)... Should have stayed elsewhere...

Quiet Location

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Pros: Quiet location and comfortable beds.
Cons: The lone ice machine I found was a ridiculous distance from our room.
Location: Several restaurant are nearby and easy access to roads leading to Sonoma County wine country.
This property is possibly past it's best years but it appears to be managed well. Courteous check-in staff and easy access to our room. It's a two story property so be sure to request a ground floor if you're unable to haul your luggage up stairs. The room decor was modern in gray tones. A pleasant change from most hotels we frequent. King bed was very comfortable and our room on a back wing was very quiet.

Thank you very much for staying with us. We love hearing this valuable feedback. It is true that on sold out nights and conventions our parking can be a challenge. But we do have a very large parking lot in the back shared with the Montecito Heights Health Club. We're eagerly awaiting your return to Wine Country, Shaun and hope to be your home base when you do.

Nice 50's style hotel, did not like having to pay for wi fi...nice pool, but the carpeting needs to be replaced or at the very least cleaned.

Stinks. No view.

Posted Sep 24, 2016
Staff was very nice, but hotel hallways stink like a nursing home. Room didn't smell good either. Bathroom tiny. View was the parking lot. If you're looking for a luxury hotel, keep looking.

We're very sorry Rhonda that you experienced something less than expected. Our breezeways are full of plants which add a natural odor to our hallways.

Retro Hotel Doesn't Guarantee Expedia Beds

Posted Sep 21, 2016
The hotel was retro looking but nice. Rooms weren't the largest but manageable. They advertise a gym but you must pay about $15/day to use it. Pool and hot tub were exceptional. We had back-to-back reservations but they were unable to keep us in the same room (not a huge problem). The second room we booked a King sized bed room through Expedia, just like the first reservation. They told us they don't guarantee the bed choice through Expedia reservations and tried putting us in a room with 2 full sized mattresses. Eventually, they gave us a King sized mattress per our reservation after we complained enough.

Thank you for staying with us. The 8000 Sq/ft Montecito Heights Health Club is included if you book through our website. There is a day pass otherwise, due to the fact it is a members only gym.
