It is funny how many comments I see about our being heated. I didn't occur to me that most hotels don't do this till I took my family on a trip and my son and I practically froze when we tried the pool. We'll see you soon!

For the price, great hotel.

Pros: Nice breakfast. Newer rooms and very clean. Quiet location.
Cons: Rooms weren't ready until very late afternoon. However, they did call when it was available.

We do try our best to get everyone in when they arrive. I am sorry to see that these folks had to wait a few. We are most appreciative that they understood we were hard at work for them. Richard Papera CHA, CTA General Manager Quality Inn Petaluma

Clean, comfortable and convenient.

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: Affordable comfort. Welcome jets in the tub. Varietal breakfast options (including fresh fruit, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs). Handy room safe.
Cons: The sink drain didn't engage without some fiddling around.
Location: Starbucks nearby and a great Italian restaurant, Caffe Giostra - both within walking distance of the hotel.
Great bedroom space and cordial staff. It was exactly as I expected.

Mid Range Hotel is ok

Posted Nov 13, 2016
Pros: Its clean in general, beds & pillows are comfortable enough.
Cons: Not that I use the shampoo & conditioner they provide. Some do,so just be aware it does have a masculine smell to it. Not so good for the ladies.
Location: Petaluma has a great selection of restaurants, and there is some nightlife- mainly bars in old part of town(West side).
Out of the current hotels in Petaluma that are not being renovated(a few),it is one of the nicer to stay at- until the others are done. The staff at the hotel are very friendly. The rooms are clean in general. Need to be updated & modernized to accommodate by professionals- you can definitely see the difference on what they have repaired. Even simple needs like USB ports in the outlets for phones, would be a start. Things you find at other hotels in near by towns/cities within this price range. The prices they charge for weekends, special events & holiday are a bit high considering these factors. With that being said all the hotels in this area that are not really remodeled (just updated -here & there) ,are a bit overpriced.

I find that the comment about the scent of the shampoo and conditioner to be the most helpful in this post. The overall scent is pleasant but could be better balanced. It is funny that I have never noticed this before. I thank this guest for bringing this to my attention. details make all the difference.

Clean and Affordable Hotel

Posted Nov 12, 2016
Pros: All access to rooms were protected by a common outside door which you needed a room key to open. It was a nice additional safety feature.
Cons: Breakfast was only fair. Not a lot of options.
Location: The front desk staff suggested an excellent italian restaurant very close by but could not get in as we did not have any reservations.
We were visiting a friend in the Napa, Sonoma area and could not find any places to stay that were in our price range. Petaluma, CA is a very nice city and was about a 40 minute ride to get into Napa. It was a beautiful ride and very easy driving. This hotel is conveniently located near many choices of restaurants. It included breakfast which had a typical assortment of breakfast options for a Quality Inn Hotel. Our room was clean and quiet. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful in suggesting places to eat for dinner.

Here is yet another comment about value. It is hard to find another hotel in the local area that has the right kind of accommodations that the Quality Inn Petaluma has. Our location, staff service and top tier value is what makes the Quality the only real choice in the Petaluma area. Richard Papera CHA, CTA General Manager Quality Inn Petaluma

Nice hotel - staff was very friendly. The only drawback is the breakfast area would get very crowded at times. You may want to look at expanding (or relocating) the breakfast area.
