We really like this Sheraton!

Posted Mar 12, 2017
Pros: See previous. Plus, it is easy to get to from the freeway, and we love looking at the yachts on the water outside the window.
Location: Not much.
I travel a bit, and stay in SPG facilities a lot in North America. We come here for a short "getaway" when we need to have some fun in wine country. We have never been disappointed. Staff at the desk was very friendly - the young lady even remembered me from a past stay. The room and bed (and PILLOWS) was extremely comfortable. We like this place.

Nice hotel in quiet area

Posted Mar 9, 2017
Pros: Lots of parking, quiet, and clean interior.
Cons: Clean the windows, they were very dirty.
Location: Close to the freeway but not loud, close to downtown Petaluma for wine tasting and shopping
Our stay was great. Hotel was a 5 min drive to downtown Petaluma and far enough from the freeway that you couldn't hear it. Hotel was very clean and had lots of parking. Only complaint is that upon check-in we got assigned a room that I am fairly certain had people in it. We got our keys and room number, and got to the room to find the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on it. Thought it was odd for that to be on a room that was just being checked into, but thought maybe it was left on my housekeeping by mistake, so tried to enter. Keys didn't work, so went down to let them know and they reset the key. Still did not work. Went back to ask for a new room which they gave us (and with a view of the marina, which was nice), and we were able to enter.

Thanks for taking the time to do a review for us. Very odd sounding experience with your guest room keys. I am sorry - obviously not our standard! I do hope you hurry back as we'd love a chance to get it perfect next time! Be well! Scott Satterfield General Manager

Not impressed

Posted Mar 2, 2017
After selecting this hotel over others being it was a Sheraton I was not impressed and more so thoroughly agitated. After a long stressful day we were looking forward to a stay in the hot tub to relax which we find out is closed. Then get up to go get breakfast only to find there is none. Only a restaurant in which we can pay for. Go to get coffee from their "Starbucks" which was under staffed and drinks made entirely incorrectly. Will never stay or recommend to stay here.

Thank you for staying with us. While Sheraton hotels, like most full-service hotels, don't offer a comp breakfast, most of our guests already know that before their arrival. I apologize for the hot tub, but it was also noted online. It is completely re-plastered now and ready for use should you decide to give us another try. We'd love to earn the marks that your fellow travelers have given us from you! Be well! Scott Satterfield

One night business stay

Posted Feb 27, 2017
Nice, clean room. Disappointed that for the cost of this room there wasn't a coffee maker in the room, and I had to instead pay and drink the coffee from the stand adjacent to the lobby. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

There IS a coffee maker in every single guest room! However, it is concealed in our dresser to cut down on the clutter. All you had to do was open the front and help yourself to the Starbucks coffee inside! Hope you give us another try soon! Be well! Scott Satterfield

Beautiful, marina-like hotel

Posted Feb 26, 2017
Good location - not downtown, but very accessible to surrounding Napa - Sonoma vineyards. Good, friendly staff.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! We do have a great staff. I'm glad you enjoyed the marina views. I hope you had a moment to walk through the wetlands adjacent to the hotel. It's such a beautiful path with so many unusual birds to see! If not, you have just another reason to return! Be well! Scott Satterfield

The room and staff were excellent. We came in late and left early, so we appreciated the enormous king sized bed and the convenience to the highway.

Thanks for choosing the Sheraton Petaluma! Glad you enjoyed your stay. We are pet friendly, but try to hold our pet owner guests responsible for their pet's behavior. I hope the barking didn't disturb you! Be well - we hope to see you again soon! Scott Satterfield General Manager

Nothing special

Posted Feb 13, 2017
The "deluxe" room was nothing special. The shower was your basic narrow tub and shower curtain. The heater and air conditioner unit was old and noisy. The fire alarm went off at 1:30 A.M. A minor fire. The hotel management was not specific the next day about what was on fire. All the guests spent a half hour outside in the cold air waiting for the fire department to check everything out. No compensation provided for the inconvenience. Not even a breakfast.

We are sorry for the inconvenience of the fire alarm. A guest pulled a fire alarm due to a small fire in his/her room due to smoking in our non-smoking hotel! So very sorry!
