The inn is dated and in need of deep cleaning. The tile and grout jn our room was dirty. Just did not feel comfortable for the cost of the stay. The after hours check in had me waiting for nearly 20 minutes. Would only stay here again in a pinch.

I can’t say enough good things about the Sonoma Creek Inn! It offers the perfect balance between reasonable price, comfort, location, and nice people. Just a couple of blocks from the Fairmont , it’s a adobe historical building modernized in all the right ways. Clean, with plush towels and nice bedding, and really good shower water pressure! The attached Creekside restaurant has really good food at reasonable prices. A Home Run all around if you aren’t looking for fancy/luxury.

Cute, quaint, quiet hotel in Sonoma.
The property is quaint. Great Location. Our room was very clean, however there was a prevalent bleach smell upon entering. Our suggestion is that they go to an enzyme cleaner or something not so toxic. The bed was comfortable as well. Ruth at the front desk is lovely. She gave me a tea pot so I could have hot water instead of it coming out of a coffee maker. There was no hot water for the first shower this morning. Ruth said it was the whole property that somehow it went off. It did come back on though.

Quiet hotel great location
This is an older established hotel that has been well kept up. It is only a few minutes to the square in Sonoma. It is in a quiet location and there is a great cafe located next to it. The room was tastefully decorated with local art. We would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a quaint, quiet place to hang your hat for the night, this is it. It is not fancy, but with attention to detail that they give you, it’s like a home away from home. This is my second stay here and I am finding it to be one of my favorite places.

A wonderful place to stay - close to everything
What a great place to stay! We were looking for something away from the hustle and bustle of Sonoma, but with access to town and local wineries - for a one night stay. Sonoma Creek Inn fit the bill in spades! We reserved two rooms for three people, and they gave us two next to each other, so easy to communicate. The rooms were impeccably clean and bright. The bathrooms were charmingly renovated and cheery. And the location couldn't have been better. With a cafe right next door for dinner or breakfast. Or a five min walk to the main street for a fresh cup of coffee at Barking Dog Roasters. And only a 5 min drive to Sonoma Plaza. I highly recommend Sonoma Creek Inn.

The room itself was lovely and the bed was comfy. We had a plumbing issue which unfortunately couldn’t be rectified at the time of visit, but we are happy enough with the response from management regarding the matter and would stay again when back in Sonoma. It is about 10 minutes out of town, so a car would be necessary.

Wonderful place to stay overnight near Sonoma, CA
We had a delightful, if brief, stay at the Sonoma Creek Inn. The room was sweet, very clean, and stocked with everything needed for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable. The two nice chairs were great. The availability of electrical outlets on both sides of the bed made a big difference, and the lamps showing historical Fetters Hot Springs buildings brought back great memories of the history of the area. All in all, we really loved your Inn, and will no doubt return when we are in the area. We will also speak highly of your Inn. We heard great things about the Cafe, also. Thank you for making our night so pleasant! Listening to the rain on the patio was delightful.

We chose Sonoma creek because it was one of the few that allowed one night stay. Also it was more affordable then the others. It was very clean and bed was comfortable . It's an older hotel but the staff was friendly. The rooms are small but the high ceiling makes it feel bigger. The patio was too small we didn't go out there. But it's close to downtown and we had a great time. Dinner at Sonoma Grill and wine taste at BR Cohn

Delightful from the moment I arrived!! A very charming, helpful Innkeeper greeted me and made me feel right at home. This is my kind of place and such a pleasant change from the corporate feeling you get from the big chains. Overall fine. Clean. Some signs of wear and tear. Many ants in bathroom at base of tub but nowhere else. About 10 min drive to Sonoma Plaza. Overpriced for a “budget” hotel. They texted shortly after we arrived to make sure everything was ok- that was a nice touch.

Great Period-Themed Motel
The room decor is of decades gone by. Having said that the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Our room had a small walled patio which was great to sit outside in the mornings and enjoy our coffee. We would return.
