Excellent staff and facilities. Older rooms were small but updated. Unless you use spa and other amenities, not worth the price.

Oasis of beauty a bit out of town

Gorgeous building and grounds. Not walkable to main area. Typical of older, historic hotels, smaller rooms with bath/shower combination. Bed and linens top quality. No elevator. Large, friendly lobby area. Parking a bit tough unless you valet.

Very disappointed

I have stayed at many Fairmont Hotels and have known them to be a quality brand. On an eight day trip in CA this was the most expensive night that we had booked and it was by far the most disappointing. Our room looked nothing like the pictures. It was worn with a rip in the carpet and in the sheets. The hotel needs a serious refresh and we will not be going back.

Great hotel to stay at when visiting Sonoma

Pros: I liked that it had a restaurant and spa on the premises.
Cons: The person above me walked like an elepant. It woke me up on the second day we were there.
Location: Visit Jack London Park, wine taste, see the Geysers, wine taste, outlet shopping...wine taste.....
Hotel was very accomendating. One surprise we had was that they drove us to and from our restaurant. That was very much appreciated.

Staff was great

Had a Wonderful stay at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. The valet/bell guys are all friendly and happy to assist you. Even gave us complimentary champagne upon arrival. As for the desk receptionist, she did say the our room would be ready before 4pm and it wasn't! They said that we would receive a text when our room was ready and we did NOT. Besides that, everything else was amazing! We hope to come back soon!

Fairmont Disappointment

The Fairmont room was old and musty. The shower was absolutely terrible. The service was sub-par at best. This was the first time I've stayed at a Fairmont property. Probably will be my last. Not impressed at all. They also charged for everything! The only high points were the spa and the resturant Sante.

Beautiful rooms, impeccable staff, and crazy, delicious on site restaurant! We wish the use of the hot tubs were included in the price of the room, but it's not a deal breaker. Love that they give hybrid valet discounts and that they have a shuttle so we could wine taste safely in Sonoma. We'll be back!

Amazingly relaxing "Babymoon" before the birth of our first child. Love this place!
