Noisy but nice

The hotel is just of I-10 and although this is convienient, one can clearly hear the traffic as well as people walking and talking outside the room. Other than that, the room and hotel was great. I brought ear plugs with me and used them.

Pros: good price
very nice room; updated interior with new paint on old design exterior. nice beakfast and staff. very clean roons, nice towels and sheets.

Staff & complimentary breakfast was excellent! Three huge black two inch crickets found inside the room which we had to kill so we could sleep. Also the bathroom door under the doorknob was horribly filthy.

There was several crickets on the floor. They were able to get in under the door so I'm guessing it was clean when the room was cleaned. Otherwise everything else was excellent: good staff, clean lobby, excellent hot free breakfast.

Good location between El Paso and San Antonio

Pros: Not much overall- but the bed was very comfortable
Cons: Modernization, cleanliness, bath fixtures,
Location: Location was great for travelers on IH-10 but hotel was hidden from view from freeway and sign was very inconspicuous
Hotel was hidden from view from the IH 10E freeway. Seemed very old and needs updating. Room was comfortable enough but needed a light bulb replaced. Water in room 131 needed long time to get hot but it finally made it. Bath fixtures need to be updated- tub was difficult to get into and out of. Room was home to several flies that were hard to catch/kill. Room needed an overall cleaning.
