Lovely hotel in a great locationPosted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: Free direct line WIFI - was really useful. Lots of shops, restaurants and Gelaterias near by!
Cons: Larger balcony. Pity that the English TV stations are limited to business and news channels. No film, sport or kids TV in English.
Location: Very central, but it is a bit of walk down many steps to either Marina. Lots of excursions but be aware there is usually an entrance fee on top.
Situated only 1 minute from the main square and 5 minutes from the station, this is an ideal location for a holiday in Sorrento. The pool was clean and inviting with an outdoor bar area where you can buy food, freshly made from the hotel kitchen. There was ample shade around in the lemon and orange tree lined garden that surrounded the pool. Our room (202) was very spacious, cleaned daily with towels changed twice a day. Breakfast provided a broad choice and was free to its guests. The staff especially Mario were always on hand and cheerful to help with your every need. The hotel were flexible in our checkout by allowing us to extend the room for our departure later in the day.

Fantastic hotelPosted Jul 23, 2015
This hotel is situated in a brilliant place. The hotel is small and personal. Staff ever so friendly and helpful. Every question answered. Restaurant and visit recommendations were excellent. Can't wait to go back and stay again 😃

Great service/rooms/staff. No beach destination.Posted Jul 5, 2015 on Hotels
This is a beautiful hotel, well located for the town. The pool area is extra-special with a truly, peaceful, relaxing environment with great service and atmosphere. The lobby staff are lovely young Italian men who couldn't be more polite and obliging. I would definitely recommend this hotel as long as you are not coming to Sorrento for the beach life. The beach is not a good beach so to speak so I would go to Positano or Salerno for that type of holiday.

Wonderful staff, location, and facilities.Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Wonderfully Italian !
Location: Perfect location to visit Sorrento's main square, shops, and vendors. Great location for day trips to multiple locations.
The entire complex is beautiful, while dotted with lemon and orange trees around the pool and bar area. A lovely place to relax and enjoy Sorrento and the surrounding areas. Staff is very friendly and attentive to any needs or desires. Most recommended.

Thank you Hotel Antiche MuraPosted Jun 21, 2015 on Hotels
A fantastic hotel with great staff. Sorrento is wonderful and Hotel Antiche Mura made it even better. We loved the pool, the room in the garden and its proximity to everything.

Lovely hotel in heart of SorrentoPosted May 29, 2015
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room. Free sparkling wine on arrival and private terrace off our room. Breakfast was good.
Cons: A little bit of noise transfers from surrounding rooms but nothing problematic.
Location: Pompeii, Herculaneum and Mt. Vesuvius easy to get to by train. Capri by ferry, again easy to do but not as interesting unless you like designer shops.
Hotel was central to Sorrento and it was an easy walk to the station for trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius. Also easy to walk down to the port for a trip to Capri. You need to be reasonably fit for the walk back up! Very easy if you don't speak any Italian as most local people speak English. Our attempts at speaking Italian were well received even when we made mistakes.

will definitely come backPosted May 25, 2015 on Hotels
We had a clean, spacous corner suite with a view and a regular room. Although the interior of the hotel could use some upgrade, the exterior looked great. This hotel appeared to have a lot of guests from the U.S., Canada and U.K. The location was very convenient, one block to the commercial center. Staff were very professional. We were exchanging messages months prior to our trip about the possibility of switching reservations. Luigi Savarese kept prompt communication till the very last minute. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful, too. We were quite impressed. We would definitely come back to this hotel.
