Views to die for.Posted Oct 9, 2015
Pros: The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff pleasant and extremely helpful and the views out of this world. The buffet breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The pool was clean and looked very inviting, but a bit too cold (end of September). Maybe some solar heating could be considered.
Location: A ten minute walk takes you into the heart of Sorrento, with its many shops, bars and restaurants.
We stayed seven nights at the Belair and had a fabulous time. The hotel is set above the town and has commanding views of the bay of Naples. You could easily sit on the balcony and spend all day just looking at the view (with a glass of wine in hand, of course!). Although adjacent to the main road, the design of the hotel is such that there is no road noise in the bedrooms or public areas.

Gorgeous viewsPosted Oct 1, 2015
The hotel is a short walk outside of sorrento. From the centre it takes about 10 minutes to walk there and about 25 minutes from the train station. You enter the hotel on the ground floor at reception and go down the stairs or lift to your hotel room. We had a nice room with a a balcony with two chairs and a table which was the first place we went to. The views across the bay are gorgeous. The room and was nice with plenty of room and was comfortable for us. The pool was nice too. It does close at 6pm which we thought was a shame as we would have like to swim it it a little later. There are sun beds around the pool too for sunbathing. The breakfast was good both food and service. You could eat inside or on the terraces. We didn't eat dinner here but was told by other guests it was great. Overall this was a fantastic stay and I can't really fault the service or the hotel.

Stunning views, excellent staffPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Amazing views of the bay of Naples and vesuvius
Cons: More privacy between balconies and asking people not to play their music or radios on the balconies
Location: Too much to tell but best thing is easy access to Grande Marina before 7.00pm - the best and quietest Marina with very good bars and restaurants
There are stunning views from the balconies of this smart, clean hotel and the staff are excellent, very helpful with very good english. The only slight draw back is that there is only a small rail fence between balconies giving very little privacy. On the plus side the balconies are large with comfy recliners. There are steps down to Grande Marina but these are closed after 7.00pm which is a shame as it would have been nice to take this short cut at a later time, the walk back from the main road is much longer but there are taxis.

Classic hotel with magnificent viewsPosted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: The decor and views
Cons: To have in each room toiletries e.g. Shampoo, flannel and soaps for bath. Also, tea making facilities in each room.
Location: Ideal location to walk into Sorrento. Lots of restaurants to choose from, shops to browse around and boat trips
Found the hotel was within easy walking distance to Sorrento.

Location and view make it!Posted Sep 9, 2015
Out of the core city, but a close enough walk to get anywhere you want to get to in 20 minutes, the hotel boasts a great view. The rooms and teh overall facility is adequate, but the views are excellent, and much better than the in town hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful with transfers and advice. Breakfast was included and had lots of quality choices. All in all we were happy with the choice and would choose Hotel Belair again in Sorrento.

Fabulous hotel with outstanding views!!!!!!!Posted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: Room spacious, bright, clean and bed extremely comfortable. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. Staff exceptional!!!
Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities in room would be nice.
Location: Location perfect, spectacular views on short walk into town. Piazzo Tasso is the main square and only 10 minutes away.
My partner and I just spent 10 nights at Hotel Belair, we had the most wonderful holiday. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem to them. Front desk gentlemen were exceptional. We were on a bed and breakfast basis as we wanted to try all the lovely restaurants in Sorrento, however we ate twice at the hotel and the food was delicious, and service outstanding. Stefano who worked the pool bar was an absolute star, he took care of our every need while relaxing by the pool. Hotel Belair is a 4 star hotel with 5 star service!!!!!!! We will certainly return next year.

Great view, excellent service!Posted Sep 6, 2015
The receptionist was particularly helpful! We had a problem with the transfer to the hotel booked through Expedia. The transfer didn't turn up and we had to jump in a taxi that was very stressful and inconvenient. The receptionist at the Hotel Belair had a calming presence and organised the return transfer with ease.

Best View in the World, possibly ?Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: The view, the staff, the food and the general ambience were excellent.
Cons: No towels on balconies, devalues a beautiful hotel.
Location: Sorrento is like no where else, just perfect, totally busy, yet perfectly relaxing.
This hotel enjoys possibly one of the best locations anywhere, the walk too the hotel from town is a little daunting, particularly when dark, however, the staff, the facilities and the view make up for that in plenty.

Splurge Hotel - commanding viewPosted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: rooms are sumptuous; commanding view of the bay
Cons: Need English-language news stations on the cable package
Location: Superb - out of the city, elevated
I had no idea that this place was going to have such a magnificent view of the Sorrento harbor: elevated, over-looking the sea and town, removed from town. Has a very nice pool (not too well tended - leaves filling the pool by the end of the day and early morning; towels had to be rented and pool man was absent). Superb rooms: beautiful tiling, nice balcony (could use a bit more privacy: erect more solid barriers). TV was a problem - no English language news stations. Need to fix this!! This is a hotel that seems to attract an older clientele. We are in our mid-fifties and early sixties - and we felt old! Pool area was ultra-quiet. Did not eat on site. Brunch was very very nice (though choose location well: it's very hot and blinding if not in the right place)

Charming hotel with stunning views!Posted Jul 19, 2015
Breathtaking views, efficient and friendly staff, comfortable rooms. The decor could do with an update! Not worn, just olde-worlde.
