Non vi torneremo più.Posted Aug 18, 2013
Sciacquone funzionante a singhiozzo. Asciugamani molto usurati. Suppellettili molto vecchi. Aria condizionata spenta dal personale in nostra assenza. TV stravecchio con tubo catodico.

Hotel Montana, Amalfi coastPosted Aug 30, 2011 on Hotels
The hotel was nice, free parking and good breakfast. Internet was just too expensive to use (€10/hour), so we ended up using a local internet point for a fraction of the cost. The hotel should really re-consider their internet price list. The room was comfy, not spectacular, but the AC worked well and had a very nice view (choose seaside). Clean, minibar/fridge. The hotel was probably a great hotel many years ago, but is in need of a renovation. It's located in a small town called Sant' Agata sui due golfi and you need a car to get to the various Amalfi coast/Napoli attractions. Although it's not very fancy, it's certainly within easy (well, distance-wise) access to Vesuvius, Pompei, Amalfi coast towns etc. Driving here (Amalfi peninsula) is an experience. Be careful and stay sharp! The tourist office can help to book a boat trip to Capri if you wish (recommended) with car pick-up in the town centre, two-three minute walk, tops. Do try the local Limoncello, it's great.

Would go backPosted Oct 13, 2010
The hotel is a great location, many stores, a great bakery and a supermarket, bus station is only one block, The hotel is not a 4 star by US standards, but the room was clean, a nice balcony w/sea view. we requested a non smoking room, I don't believe they have any but there was not any smell. The breakfast buffet was almost non existant, the first day there was yogurt and canned fruit to go with the outstanding crossants and coffee, lunchmeat ham, cheese but no eggs or cereal or anything else hot, and after the first day it was just coffee, crossants and lunchmeat. Dinner was the worst and most expensive I have had in many years, no menu and the price quoted was not the price charged. There is a great restaurant just a few blocks, Da Cardillo whose prices are quite reasonable or de Mimi which is take out just a few blocks down the main street. This hotel is great and I would go back because the staff is friendly, its clean, and the location couldn't be better. We considerded a more expensive hotel, and we passed several we considerded everyday going to Sorrento, but they were on the highway so you could not walk around the shops or to restaurants. While we took the bus, train or ferry every day, at night we were tired and didn't want the hassle, the owner would even open my bottle of wine so I could enjoy it on the balcone (no room service)

Hotel molto datato, lontanissimo dalle "4 stelle" , versa in condizioni pessime praticamente da rifare. Personale cortese.
