Beautiful boutique feeling hotel close to the hustle and bustle but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Uber clean with amazingly friendly staff and great facilities.

Lovely hotel with sea views

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: We liked the views, the air conditioning, the helpful staff, the exceptional cleanliness and the breakfasts.
Cons: It was a little inconvenient that the electricity in our rooms only worked when we were there so we couldn't charge phones while we were at breakfast.
Location: We went to Pompeii, Herculaneum, up to the top of Vesuvius, Capri and the archaeological museum in Naples which has many of the artefacts from Pompeii
My husband and I stayed here with our two sons. We had two rooms, next to each other and I paid extra for deluxe rooms with sea views. We were certainly not disappointed with the view across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive and everywhere is smart and clean. Breakfast included everything you could possibly want from bacon and eggs to fresh fruit and homemade cake. The swimming pool is quite small but adequate for a cool down at the end of a long day, although it closes at 6.30pm. The location of the hotel was perfect for us: in the old part of Sorrento, about 10 minutes walk from the railway station and 5 minutes from the shops and restaurants but away from the noisiest areas. The Circumvesuviana railway is a cheap and convenient way to get to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples. You can get a ferry to the island of Capri from the Marina Piccola and boat and coach trips to the Amalfi Coast, so there is no real need to hire a car.

Hotel was in the perfect location with great access to town. Staff was extremely helpful. The only recommendation would be to include more room service in terms of food for dinner.

Good 4 star hotel close to amenities and transport

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: I especially liked the staff who were all so helpful. Having the lovely terrace for breakfast and the roof terrace for drinks overlooking the Bay.
Cons: Do you know, I can't think of anything that would have made it better for us but the pool is perhaps not big enough for lots of children.
Location: The location is perfect. Five minutes walk to the shops and restaurants and transport all near by.
Very pleasant, small hotel with delightful staff that couldn't do enough for you. Lovely buffet breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples with attentive staff who greeted you with a smile in the morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Small but perfectly formed pool to cool down in. Close to all shops, restaurants and boat/train/bus transport. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic stay. Only minor comment is it would have been nice to be offered a room to change in after checking out. Views are fabulous and service top draw.

Room with space in a Quiet area

Posted May 22, 2015
Hotel was in a decent location, walking distance to the center of town. Clean facility with a nice breakfast, and pretty view on the roof at night. Customer service needs work. When we arrived they tried to push a tour to Capri. Couldn't figure out the hair dryer and they sent someone up who also didn't know how it worked and didn't fix it, 45 minutes later we go down to find the hotel worker to ask what the issue was and he was chatting with another employee at the bar, someone else then came up to show us how to fix it. Other than that, it was nice amount of space in the room and quiet (other than noise from the room above).
