Little charming place in the historic center
Great location in the historic center. Close to anything and everything in Sorento. Walking distance to the center, the marina. Staff was very nice and extremly helphul.

The penthouse apartment with the kitchenette was excellent. The property location is great - just a few steps away from restaurants and shops. The Gelato shop owned by the same owner is magnificent - loved the Cafe gelato! Also the staff were great - Elba at breakfast, Rossana at reception and the lady at the Gelato shop ;-)

Loved this place located on a busy street full of restaurants and stores. Was worried about the noise but no problem with the great window shutters which blocked all street noises. Also there was a beautiful front alcove/patio to sit and watch. Wonderful breakfast with the nicest lady making breakfast. Ferry to Capri is about a 2 minute walk away. Great location, comfortable bed, modern decor and a funky bathroom - loved the color!

Amazing hotel in a perfect location!
We had such a lovely stay at Magi house! The room was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and in the center of sorrento. We could walk everywhere easily. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Suite with hot tub
Andrea and Rosa at reception were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Their advice about trips to Positano and elsewhere was spot on. All other staff were also friendly and always had a smile on their faces which added a good vibe to our trip. The room was spacious with a large hot tub which was great.

Amazing hotel great location excellent service
This place is amazing! It is a cozy place, very well kept. Service is excellent as well as cleanliness. Regarding location, this hotel is close to everything. It is just a few steps from the main road. On arrival, our driver contacted the attendant who walked to the streets and carried our luggage to the hotel. The room has everything you may need, including air conditioning temperature control. Our room had a private terrace with jacuzzi!! Priceless!! Breakfast was great as well. It is served in an open terrace in the 3rd floor. No elevator available. There’s only a pergola covering the sitting area. Most of the tables are under the That didn’t stopped us from having a wonderful time. The servers at the breakfast area were excellent, especially Rosariana (I think that was her name). There is no front desk attendant after 9 pm. When I’m back in Sorrento I’ll definitely stay here again.

Magi House Sorrento
Very warm welcome by reception. The hotel is modern but also has character. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and beds very comfortable. Location couldn’t be better, it’s right in the town centre. Reception also recommended and booked a couple of restaurants for us that weren’t touristy, they were perfect....the food was fantastic! Breakfast is served on a roof top terrace. The choices on offer catered for everyone. From fresh pastries, a wide choice of fruit and yogurts and freshly made omelettes. Again the staff were very friendly and professional. Would I return...100% yes!

We were upgraded to the Magi Antica Dimora, which was a fabulous small boutique residence which is based on the same provision as the Relais. We would definitely recommend this quaint, quiet, well located and appointed residence, capped off by excellent service and attention to detail to make the time of its visitors well spent.

This is a beautifully restored, ancient building, right in the middle of Sorrento. There were 2 very minor problems with my apartment and the staff were quick to understand and rectify them.

We stayed at Magi Antica Dimora 2 nights instead of Magi Relais, due it was under renovation, but ended up it was the best choice stayed at Magi Antica Dimora, the room was spacious , beautiful & modern, the most of all is the wonderful staff, everyone were courteous , acknowledge to every questions we asked, extremely kind and helpful, Thanks to Rosa , Andrea and Maria( loved her baked&cooks), we definitely will go back.

We were upgraded to the penthouse, thank you, and we loved the room. It opens up to the roof terrace and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. However, our room had an odor that resembled a lingering sewage spill. The property management tried to mask it with a heavy air freshener which made it worse. We noticed that the ventilation in the room did not work (and opening windows was not an option due to mosquitoes and smoke from the neighbors), so perhaps that was the cause. In any case, the room was comfortable except for the fouls smell which made our experience very uncomfortable. We did not raise the issue because we only stayed for three nights.

Lovely modernization on a pedestrian only “street”. In center of Sorrento great for walking when you don’t have bags. Hotel has lots of steps to negotiate.

Wonderful Stay in Sorrento! The entire staff and the owner were gracious, kind, and always pleasant. They went above and beyond our expectations to make sure that we were comfortable and that we enjoyed our stay at Magi House. The hotel is very clean, our room was spacious and bright. It's situated on a great pedestrian street in the heart of Sorrento, just a few steps from our favorite gelateria. It is absolutely perfect!

Our short stay in Sorrento
From the initial warm welcoming smile from Roberta, the receptionist, to the beautiful suite and the breakfast area on the roof terrace, our one night stay in Magi House Relais was idyllic. Its location, in the heart of the historic centre of Sorrento, was so convenient for our short stay. The Main Street, viewing area of the Bay of Naples and the shops and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. There are no views of the Bay from the hotel and no lift in the hotel nor parking. This did not deminish the the relaxing quality of our short break as we arrived by train, the station is less than 10 minutes walk away from the hotel. There are literally hundreds of restaurants to choose from just outside the front door. It was just perfect and Sorrento is still beautiful.

A Real Gem
We arrived early and were not going to make it back before the desk closed at 9 pm. The owner heard and helped get us settled, he wanted us to feel like family and we did. I really enjoyed our stay. It was quite, had a roof top terrace for and excellent breakfast. They made sure everything was taken care of throughout our stay and helped get us to the train station in Salerno. Great place, great service and a real gem.

Great place to stay!
Great Location and Service! Welcoming staff who are resourceful and informational when it comes to staying in Sorrento. The location allows you to walk to a variety of stores, restaurants and historical venues.

Modern hotel or bed and breakfast (all brand new) in a perfect location!!! Center to all and 2 minutes from lift (most important) ... staff were great ....we were greeted with much love. Rosa and Roberta were amazing! Much love to them! The only thing I would say is that the breakfast could be open past 10am for the price. You go there to relax so no early breakfast :(

Perfect location
The staff made us feel so welcome. They said that they treated the guests like family and not just like a hotel guest. And they sure did that. Breakfast was great, rooms were very clean and modern, and they were happy to help us in any way possible.

Magi House Antica Dimora, A Wonderful Surprise!!
After a disastrous, sleepless night at another hotel, we quickly booked the last available room at Magi House (Antica Dimora's other property). Too early for check-in, we dropped off our bags before heading to Positano for the day. Upon our return, we were met at our car by Andrea from the hotel, who very excitedly told us that he had a big surprise for us: they had moved our bags and were upgrading us to the suite at the newly opened Antica Dimora!! I literally had tears in my eyes as we toured the breathtaking, brand-new accommodations: a huge room with beautiful bedding, flatscreen TV, large bathroom with a gorgeous walk-in shower, enormous Jacuzzi tub, elegant lighting and many other luxurious amenities. On top of that, the room--as well as many of the public spaces in the hotel--is tastefully decorated with museum-quality architectural antiques that the owner (who is an antiquities dealer) placed throughout--a feast for the senses! Breakfast every morning was served on the upstairs terrace (which is also equipped with a large hot tub) by a lovely woman who put out a beautiful spread of homemade pastries and cooked our eggs to order. Andrea was helpful in suggesting wonderful restaurants to enhance our stay and all of the staff was so warm and welcoming we felt like family. Most importantly, we finally had a good night's sleep!! We will forever be grateful to Andrea and Magi House for saving our stay in Sorrento--we look forward to staying with them again!!

Thank you for the beautiful memories!!
Sorrento can seem like just another beautiful tourist trap. The staff at Magi house, however, makes you feel so welcome, so at home and so special. Its like staying a a friends home, but with really good service, well designed rooms, and a great location. Mr. Mariano (the owner) knows what he is doing and has opened another spectacular guest house, around the corner from Magi House. I would like to give Maria, who made our breakfast each of the three days we stayed there, special recognition, although the whole staff has been carefully selected to make you feel warm and welcome. Traveling is so much about the people you meet. You can't record it on your cell phone but, Magi House will be forever engraved in your memory.

Stayed in the Nattuno suite for 3 nights. Fantastic theme and decor! Thanks to Mr Mariano and staff for our welcome in our suite. Best place to stay in Sorrento exceptional breakfast and baking from Maria. Wish was relaxing there now!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Magi House Relais—actually, we wish we could have stayed longer as we were only there for one night. When we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They carried our bags to our room, helped us find the beach, and booked us the last reservation at a nearby restaurant. They also helped us book a driver to Naples for the following day and were very communicative before we even arrived in Italy. The room was clean, comfortable, and quite large. They provided free water, which we really needed after a long day, and the breakfast was generous.

Hotel pro-active contact was fantastic. Very responsive for helping us book trips and car services ahead of staying - giving a great concierge touch to this boutique hotel. Check in was informative and personalised, bags taken to our room and we were offered a welcome drink. Restaurant recommendations were no bother. Room was quiet even though so very centrally located. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and well appointed.
