La Terrazza is an excellent place to stay in alghero close to all the major attractions. The accommodation is clean and the owner, Mario, is friendly, going out of his way to ensure your stay is enjoyable as possible. The terrace is great to sit on and relax and the breakfast provided is lovely.

Good hospitality and easy access to all there is to see. Mario was very helpful and answered all our questions. If possible get the terrace as it is nice to rest and have a glass of wine during the day(siesta) or the evening. Will definitely visit again

We have stayed in many guest houses and have never met a host like Mario really genuine and charismatic personality nothing was ever to much trouble .

Great Place!
LaTerrezza is a great place to stay, easily walking distance from the old town, shops, restaurants and the bus station! Impeccably clean. And, Mario (owner) was a fantastic host, always willing help, and provide advice on all local amenities. My flight came in late (23:00) and Mario offered to pick me up from the airport! I've no regrets about staying at LaTerrezza, and recommend it highly! PS: One downside, that I've noted on other reviews, is the B&B is on the 4th floor - which means you've got quite a few steps to climb - not much of an issue for a young person!

B&B La Terrazza di Alghero - a weekend to remember
This is a very clean and peaceful B&B in the centre of Alghero. The room was perfectly clean and 3 star standard. It has various big and relaxing terraces, a reading corner and common spaces you can enjoy in. The breakfast was very good, various, copious and in a multicultural environment (we are italians, and we met people from all Europe ;))). The owner, Mr. Mario, and his family were always ready to help us. He's a very nice person and he has also met all our "last second" requirements (for example iron, hairdryer, more towels and so on). I would recommend to everyone to stay here. We were very satisfied staying in this B&B and we look forward to come back again. SEE YOU MARIO!

Vera good B&B in perfekt location!
Nice stay in perfekt location! Mario and wife was very helpful and spoke english. Very clean, and sufficient breakfast with lot of fresh fruit. Nice roof terrace. If you have trouble walking: lot of stairs to get to flat, but Mario helped to carry my heavy luggage. Free wifi with worked good.

Ein sehr gutes B&B
Mitten In Alghero gelegen und ca. 10 Min. zu Fuss bis zur Altstadt. Mein Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit vom Gastgeber Mario. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann nur meine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Tolle Lage, Stadtzentrum, Promenade, Strand zu Fuss 5 min erreichbar, Parken gratis, zimmer schön, bequem und gross, super Frühstück, Gastgeber Mario sehr freundlich,sehr aufmerksam, wir haben dort eine Tolle zeit gehabt!

A panzió egy társasház 4. emeletét jelenti. Ráférne egy felújítás. De tökéletesen megfelelt arra, hogy fürödjön, aludjon, reggelizzen az ember. Az ágy kényelmes volt, a légkondi működött, gyors volt a wifi. Nagyon jó környéken van, Super Mario pedig nagyon kedves és bármiben segít - kirándulási, vásárlási, vacsorázási tippekért is forduljatok hozzá. Mi nagyon jól éreztük magunkat.

Everything you could wish for. The owner is very friendly, the rooms are clean and in perfect shape, located just outside the city center and the supermarket is just around the corner.

Nah am Zentrum - ordentliches sauberes Zimmer - Ne
Empfang: Wir hatten glatt übersehen uns vorher zeitlich anzumelden - niemand zuhause. Daher die Nummer am Schild gewählt und Mario angerufen: "No Problem - I'll be there in 20 Minutes". Und so war es auch - wir hatten in der Zwischenzeit einen Cafe an der Hauptstrasse getrunken. Das B&B ist ordentlich eingerichtet. Eher praktisch als stylisch. Die Terrasse ist nett. Das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend: Toast mit Marmelade Käse Wurst und Kuchen dazu Getränk nach Wahl also Cafe (Espresso in der normalen Tasse) / Tee / Milch und einen Krug mit Fruchtnektar. Tipp: Bei uns gab es etwas Verwirrung: Bei Hotels.com kann man das Dreibettzimmer auch für vier Personen buchen - das haben wir auch so gemacht. Leider wird das in der Buchungsinfo an den Gastgeber nicht hervorgehoben. Ich kann nur empfehlen vorher bei Mario anzurufen und die Anzahl der Personen und die Ankunftszeit abzustimmen. Ich denk das kommt auch Mario gelegen.

En härlig vecka på ett mycket trevligt B & B nära gamla stan, där ägaren Mario är en stjärna och extremt hjälpsam. God frukost och en härligt atmosfär där man kommer nära de andra gästerna på B & B. Mario är väldigt mån om sina gäster och är otroligt hjälpsam. B & B ligger högst upp i ett lägenhetshus, långa trappor upp men man vänjer sig :) Kommer absolut bo där igen.

Accueil très chaleureux, malgré une arrivée au milieu de la nuit.Les chambres sont très propres et confortables.Avoir une terrasse en pleine ville est très agréable. Les espaces communs sont conviviaux. Très bien situé à 5mn à pied de la vielle ville Mario est très attentionné et chaleureux avec ses clients.

Rent och fint och välfungerande med rejäl frukost och Mario som den mest omhändertagande värd vi stött på. Fem trappor utan hiss, men Mario hjälper till med väskorna. Gångavstånd både till stranden, gamla stan och bussterminalen. Enkelt att ta sig till/från flygplatsen. Valuta för pengarna!

Je recommande ce B&B
Très bon séjour au B&B "La Terrazza": accueil très chaleureux de Mario en italien et en anglais. Belle chambre avec terrasse (partagée) avec vue sur la mer méditerranée, séchoir pour le linge et fauteuil pour un bain de soleil. Petit déjeuner de 8h30 à 9h30 (boisson chaude, jus de fruits, charcuterie, toasts, yaourts, confiture, pâte à tartiner) mais salle du petit déjeuner ouverte toute la journée pour pouvoir se faire une boisson chaude (café et thé) ou bien y manger et faire réchauffer un plat (micro-onde et frigo en libre accès). Chambre et salle de bain très propre. Parasols à disposition pour aller à la plage et même quelques parapluies au cas où... Un seul regret, le matelas un peu trop mou à mon goût!

Vi bokade rum med eget badrum och är mycket nöjda med hela vistelsen. Mario är väldigt service minded och mycket hjälpsam. Överlag har vi inget att klaga på. Rent rum och badrum, ac, terass, frukost.

Tyvärr var AC´n på vårt rum trasig fick därför byta till annat B&B vilket var väldigt fräscht och beläget endast ca 200 m från La Terazza. Mario var hjälpsam vid detta byte.

Værten tog fint imod os, værelset var rent og vi fik rene håndklæder og rengøring hver dag. Minus: toilet på gangen (dog vores eget),aircondition dryppede(afhjulpet med en spand), tv brændt sammen (fik et nyt efter en dag), morgenmaden nøje afmålt. Men trods disse ting var vi egentlig godt tilfredse indtil vores sidste dag, hvor vi skulle betale. Vi havde afkortet rejsen til 4 døgn og havde mail med fra Hotels.com, som havde haft kontakt med Mario, værten. Han forlangte at vi skulle betale for 10 døgn og var ret aggressiv og blev ved at diskutere. Enden blev at vi gav ham kontant betaling for de fire døgn (uden kvittering) og forlod en stadig argumenterende italiener. Træls oplevelse.

Detta var ett mycket bra B&B , med ett bra centralt läge, som var värt pengarna, men man måste vara beredd på att gå i trappor då det ligger på femte våningen utan hiss. Detta var inga problem för oss. Rummet vi fick med badrum var väldigt bra, men som nästan alltid lever sängarna inte upp till samma standard som i Sverige, helt Ok dock. Frukosten består av yoghurt, rostat bröd, lite kallskuret , ost , marmelad , kaffe och färsk frukt. Vi kan säkert tänka oss att återvända.

Behagelig opphold på La Terrazza. Det ligger sentralt, ca 6 min å gå til havnen. Mario er en super vert og gjør alt for at vi skal trives. Han kommer også med gode tips om hva man kan se og oppleve på Sardinia. Kommer garantert tilbake! Anbefales!

A very nice B n B! Good value for your money. Our room was comfy and tidy. Good location with a few minutes walk to centro storico. Breakfast served every morning by friendly host Mario, who can also give you good tips on places to visit around Alghero and beyond. And of course, there is a terazza!

Recomendation if you want a good b&b
The room were perfect nice and clean. Furthermore, it had everything you can expect from a b&b; tv, air condition, nice bed and a shared terrace. The breakfast held the standards with toast, jam, cheese, salami, coffe, tea and juice. It were served to you by the amazing Mario who also gave you some good general advices what to do in Alghero and the parts around. However, some may complain about the stairs and the short walk to the beach yet we felt the distance to the beach, the port and the old town were perfectly balanced.

Verten var svært hyggelig og sosial. Han ga oss mange gode råd om god mat og reisemål som vi fulgte.Deilig frokost. Dette var et rolig, veldig sentralt sted. Rommet vårt var lite, men hadde en deilig terasse. "La Terrazza" ligger i femte etasje, noe som ga oss god trim, men anbefales ikke til personer som har problemer med trapper. "Kjøkkenet" vi kunne benytte, var svært enkelt utstyrt, vannkoker, kjøleskap og microbølgeovn. Det var ikke enkelt å lage noe annet enn kald mat der.

Över förväntan. Nära till den charmiga gamla stan med många mysiga restauranger. Mario och hans fru var väldigt hjälpsamma och det blev en personlig kontakt vid frukosten med de andra gästerna som man också kunde få tips av gällande utflykter och sevärdheter.

vi hade ett stort fint rum med tillgång till altan; men fin utsikt,det fanns även en till stor altan man kunde utnyttja; bra frukost med trevlig personal; obs att La terazza ligger 5 tr upp utan hiss.

Mario är verkligen serviceminded på ett personligt sätt. Hans bemötande gav guldkant på hela vistelsen. Han är mån om att gästerna trivs och frukostarna kändes nästan familjära, alla gästerna pratade med varandra. Härlig start på dagen. Mario tipsade om allt från utflykter till bra restauranger. Bra läge, långt från det tråkiga hotellområdet, fem minuters promenad till gamla stan. Dock långt till stranden.Att hyra cykel, moped eller bil rekommenderas.
