This Hotel is very nice and close to the ocean. It has a beautiful view of the Ocean and all the other properties near by. The food is excellent and available from the time you wake up , until the time you go to bed. All the stores and cafes are in walking distance. The rooms are cleaned daily.This Hotel reminds me of a little private city. A very beautiful Hotel with several swimming pools and lovely restaurants.

Terrible food.

The food was terrible. The rooms need renovation. It was under construction while we were there and it didn't say that when booked reservation. The pools could have been cleaner. Children are not allowed in the jacuzzis. A lot of the staff did not know English.

Hotel with nice staff and close to beach

Check in and check out were fast. The beach is beautiful. Food was decent, but nothing to brag about. Drinks were ok. Air conditioning in the room could have been stronger considering the hot weather. A lot of the rooms were under construction which is good since a lot of the resort looks dated. The hotel staff made our stay pleasant since they were really friendly and helpful whenever something was needed.

Horrible hotel!!!!!!!!!! Do not waste your money!

I, very often go on vacation with my family. Never have I ever gotten to a hotel with such terrible service! First, we got there and had to beg the front desk to let us make a reservation for the restaurant according to them they didn't know if they had spots left (mind you when we got there it was almost empty, maybe 3 families in there.) My family and I arrived in the room to find out that the door did not lock our room. we had to wait like 40 minutes for someone to come and fix it instead of giving us a different room since the whole place had maybe like 10 families in there. The toilet was completely clogged and stinking up the room. The remote control did not work. The staff were horrible. It was like we were bothering them to serve us. Not one of the waitressing staff was polite or attentive, they would not even say hi. The food was disgusting. It tasted like old, refrigerated for a couple of days kind of food. At night, we put a little speaker with our music next to one of the bars and the manager came and called security to ask us to turn it off very rudely. It wasn't even loud or bothering anyone around as we had asked the family that was near us. This place is ready to close down because of the poor management it's receiving, starting with the staff, the food and the fact that in that place there was only about 10 families is deff a red flag! Dominican Republic has the best resorts I've been to, this one being the EXCEPTION!

Not staying here again.

Customer service is very detached not willing to satisfy needs of the guest, they need to understand that nor every situation is the same. All I kept hearing we can't do that is against regulations even when the situation was needed at the time. Again not willing to help.

everything was great the food was always fresh and delicious the drinks refreshing and the staff was friendly and very polite i would totally come again very soon !

Not disappointed but not impressed.

Rooms are outdated (not even a comforter or fitted sheet) but service is on point. The beach is beautiful but it is not all inclusive there are many things that you have to rent that would normally be included. (like the safe in the room was $20) The food was good and the grounds were kept very nicely! Our room was cleaned everyday and for the most part was a quiet hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. I think that we would try another place closer to Puerta Plata because that is where most of the action and things to do are but I would not rule out staying with the Casa Marina again.

The hotel dis not have that much of a variety of food. If youre Dominican you will not get good service from staff. You even get kind of ignored a little. I just didn like the time i spent there because of the staff, even at the restaurant we didnt even get noticed for a while. And they even talk back at you. Wont recommend this resort at all. Beautiful but won't recomend
