In middle of town

Room outdated with TVs not working, shower curtain torn and shower down to a trickle. Comfortable bed and in middle of town , cleanliness ok. Acceptable for a budget hotel.

Too much Going On

Well I booked this hotel for 1 Night Thank Goodness! Where Do I Start... First The lady At The Front Desk Was Nice Enough But She Talked Too Much I was Tired And just Wanted TO Rest, she Kept GOing On And On When She FInally Left THe room I Looked Around The Room and it wAs clean eNOugh But all Of The Appliances ANd Furniture HAd sEEn better days. I Acutally Booked a room With A King Sized BEd but SHe PUt us In with 2 Double Beds WHEn i asked about It She told ME That The KIng Rooms Ac Was NOIsy So I Settled For THE double ROom. The Beds Were REally Unstable And Very Noisy All Night i Was TWISting and turning Because Of the extremely NOISy road Practically right OUtside The Room FROM SPeeding VEHicles To community Residents SCREaming and cussing AT each other from late night to really early hours of the morning (4am) Also although THe Ac Unit Was New And Fairly Quiet The Light From the Temperature Digits On the Unit Was Sooo Bright IT was All I Could see When MY Eyes Were Closed. There was also no cable on The tv. when I was finally ready to check out i went to the shower to get ready and there was a roach in the shower. I must say I did not quite enjoy my stay. But the area is really beautiful.

Upon arrival we make it our duty to keep our guest well informed and we like to let them know where certain things can be found for example the bakery across the street etc, this is called etiquette. Its unfortunate that you had a problem with this. The bed problem could have been rectified by a simple call to reception. This is why we urge our guests to inform us of any problems they may have so that we can solve them and thereby improve their stay. Since we are situated in the town, we are subjected to occasional local banter and vehicles passing by. However, once your door is closed , it doesn't prove to be such an issue. We take every review into consideration as we seek to improve our services , amenities as well as the satisfaction and comfort of our guests.

Central location, good value

Location was great for exploring the Soufriere region. We had a rental car and there was usually a place to park on the street close to the hotel. The staff was very nice and knew the area very well. The room was spacious, clean and the AC worked well. There are no 110v outlets in the rooms but we were given a transformer and a hair dryer at check in at no additional cost. We were lucky to get a room with a view of the Petite Piton and the beach. There is a street party one block away on Friday nights with very loud music till around 1 am. We joined them instead of complaining...great street food and cheap Piton beers. Tell the beggers 'No' and they go away. The hotel has security guards on duty in the evenings. They lock the main doors into the hotel at midnight. They are still around after midnight, but it is best if you talk to them and the front desk if you plan on getting in after midnight. Wifi worked great as did the small refrigerator. There was plenty of hot water for showers and the TV worked fine. Grocery stores, the hospital, fire and police depts, Hummingbird Beach and many small restaurants are all within walking distance. All in all, a great place to stay for the price.

Great views of the pitons

Serviceable hotel with hot water, great views of the pitons if you choose ocean view, and clean rooms. Great way to experience Soufriere nightlife with many local bars surrounding the hotel.

Vacation

No washcloth, refrigerator never got cold and noisy locals early in the mornings and late at night. Constant loud music from passing cars and motorcycle owners revving their engines. I believe the locals forgot that there's a hotel in the area. Also the area is where a lot of the locals hang out. Felt safe walking alone in the area, most of the locals were friendly.

Upon cleaning and inspection of your reserved room , it was discovered that the switch for the refrigerator was turned off which could have been rectified by a simple call to reception. This is why we urge our guests to inform us of any problems they may have so that we can solve them and thereby improve their stay. Since we are situated in the town, we are subjected to occasional local banter and vehicles passing by. However, once your door is closed , it doesn't prove to be such an issue. Not like the picture!!!

Being that it is on a fairly poor island you get what you expect... bath fixtures with scales, sewage smell from toilet, no bed spread, no nite clerk to ask how to adjust the AC, some rooms have mini fridge and microwave others full OLD fridge no microwave. However people of the island are VERY nice and it is located pretty much in central downtown. No elevator so don't bring heavy luggage, the rooms are on the 4th floor!

The Air condition is already preset , however on arrival you are asked what temperature is most suitable to you and it is changed immediately. If you want to change it , you are informed that reception is there from 7AM-8PM and security personnel is there to assist you. You are also informed that management cannot leave the remotes because any interference in the settings of the A/cs by persons outside management personnel can lead to a malfunction of the Air condition. Moreover, it is quite displeasing to see a comment in regards to our bathroom fixtures as they are in perfectly good condition. Secondly, every room design is different. Our Deluxe Downtown view or Sea or Piton view offers varying amenities , hence some rooms with a large or mini fridge. We take every comment into consideration as we seek to improve our facilities and service to increase satisfaction and comfort.

Not what we were looking for at all!!!!

We were looking for a place to stay for just one night before we left on a 7 night boat cruise out of Soufriere. The options were not many as most places wanted a minimum of 3 nights. Looking at the pictures we felt like this hotel would be OK for the one night - were we wrong. We had lots of luggage and had to carry up several flights of stairs, waited 10 mins before anyone showed up at the desk to check us in, the bathroom was nasty, you had to tell them what you wanted the temp set on in the room (if you wanted it changed you had to call the front desk and they would come to your room and change it), you could see the bay but the room overlooked a very ruff part of town. We ended up calling another hotel and got them to offer us one night. It cost six times as much as this room but was our only option as this hotel just seemed unsafe to us. I will have to do better homework in the future.

We sincerely apologize again for having to wait before being checked in. At the time the receptionist was checking in four of our guests , however , we will definitely make some changes to ensure that this does not happen again. All rooms are inspected by our Room Supervisor who does not sign off on any room unless it is cleaned up to standard. We would never give a room to any guest without it being prepared. Upon inspection of the room after departure , we found that the bathroom did not dispel any unpleasant odor. Moreover, we value every comment about our establishment as it allows us to make any necessary changes to improve our service and the facilities we provide.

The hotel was near the water, had nice views and was clean. The price was right for staying 1 night. The only poor experience was there was no hot water.

Good view but would pass on this hotel.

Staff and view from the Piton view room were good. Location is good if you are travelling around to nearby attractions. Hotel was in poor condition (holes in the wall, leaking toilet, only warming water in shower), beds uncomfortable, and sheets were threadbare with holes. Wouldn't recommend.

In regards to your comment about the hotel's condition, a hole was bored to fix a main line to improve our water pressure which was later repaired by the workmen or maintenance workers who were clearly working in that area. We take pride in offering accommodation that is up to standard to ensure that our guests are satisfied and comfortable. We ensure that our guests needs are not only met but exceeded. This is why we urge all guests to report all problems to management so that it can be fixed as soon as possible , for example a leak in your bathroom. We do not provide guests with any sheets with holes as this does not in any way adhere to the standard we uphold. This is why it is displeasing to see such a comment. As for the hot water in the tap, this was checked by maintenance and it is reported to be functional.

Best location

This is the best modest accommodation in the city if you would like to stay in soufriere. It is in the most central location- close to atms, water taxi, restaurants, bars and grocery stores. There is even a morning fish and fruit market downstairs on the weekend. It is safe, the people are friendly and predisposed to help. We had an amazing time. If you're looking for cheap, central and clean and are planning to enjoy St. Lucia outdoors, this is the perfect spot for you.
