Good choice for a stopover

Pros: Free airport shuttle, nice rooms.
Location: Near the airport :)
We arrived in Auckland at midnight, I called the hotel and 15min later our shuttle arrived. The driver was a happy pleasant chap! Check in was quick and before we knew it we were in bed. The room was a good size, clean and bed comfy. Breakfast was $25 for full buffet. The food was nice, nothing out of the usual fry up options and a few cereals. The waitresses didn't seem too experienced, but they were pleasant.

Very impressed!

Pros: Everything apart from the breakfast.
Cons: Just the breakfast.
We only stayed a night. Arrived very late and check in was painless and quick. Offered a later check out if needed. The room was spacious, comfortable and well fitted out. After a good night's sleep we had breakfast at the hotel, which was average and overpriced. However we were very impressed with the hotel and staff and would definitely stay again.

Apart from the musty smell in our room and the smelly drains, the staff were great as was the food.

Great for airport

Hotel was great but experience with Expedia terrible. We were unable to stay first night and impossible to cancel thro phone calls and emails. We will Never Never use you again and will spread the word amongst our travelling friends so never advise you can cancel within 24 hours you just cannot

Would not stay here again

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything could be improved very old and tired looking. Carpet in rooms needs replacing. Felt like I needed to wear shoes all the time.
Location: Only thing going for it was it was near the airport and free wifi
Bathroom smelt like urine and did not look like it had been cleaned. Front desk staff was rude when we asked for another room and said you get what you paid for and we paid almost $200 for a night and expected more. Next day complained to duty manager and he ignored us. As we were waiting outside for shuttle to airport discussed this with the other guests and they said their bathroom smelt too! My sister stayed their as well when they got stuck in Aucland and said if she had known we were going to booked she would have advised not to.

Overnight stay after late flight

Cons: Shuttle at airport instead of having to call hotel and wait
Excellent for overnight stay. We arrived after midnight & left at 7.30am. Location very handy and complimentary airport shuttle made it very easy.

Cons: Get your act together.
Do not be fooled by the free parking indicated in advertising. As the hotel is situated be the Auckland Airport we expectated the usual two weeks free parking as indicated in their advertising and on offer by other hotels in the area. Doesn't work like that. Your free parking is only for the duration of your stay at the hotel. You stay one night and one nights free parking is all that is on offer. The longer you are away, the more you pay. Payment for parking was made on arrival BUT we were requested to pay for it again when booking out. It is now up to us to supply proof of the original payment and claim a refund! We also had a hassle when paying for our meal at the reception desk. Reception did not tell us we should pay at the bar. Staff approached us for payment and were most annoyed when we explained it had been made at reception. Get your act together plus make sure advertising is clear and precise. It is not a place we will stay again.

Nice, close to airport, clean, nice and easy

Close to airport, free shuttle, clean, nice. Room was a little bit cold, I couldn't turn the heat up on the air conditioning. I think it is set at 21deg. Everything else was to my liking, loved the meals. Such an easy stay if staying for the night after an international flight or on the way out of the country the night before an early flight.

The hotel does also provide an extra blanket in the wardrobe should you require some extra warmth through the night
