The St Augustine Hotel rooms do not look like the photos on their website. The good news is that the location is close to the action w/o all of the noise and traffic jams. The hotel could use some updates to improve the overall experience. Bottom line is it is not a bad place for the price however not vey impressive.

Convenient LocationPosted Mar 9, 2018
Pros: Proximity to watch the cruise ships leave
Cons: Needs a good overall.
The carpet and walls were not very clean at all and the room looked very old.

WORST HOTEL EVER ! AVOID ENTIRELY!Posted Mar 3, 2018
Rooms are overpriced for what you get. Then they charge hidden fees for free WiFi, coffee and breakfast. Breakfast consisted of bread, and boxed cereal. Parking lot is behind an alley and only one car can pull in or out at a time. I paid for a superior room with queen bed and got a dump with full size bed. When I asked the front desk clerk about the room, he said they were all the same except the size of the bed. Then, why call it a superior room. Dump, dump, dump is all I can say. Pictures shows the beach out the back door, it’s actually the alley you have to go down to park. Would not recommend or ever stay there again even if they gave me a free stay.

Great location. Quiet and close to the beach.Posted Feb 14, 2018
Pros: Close to beach, small, quiet.
Cons: A tad bit more attention to cleaning would be good.
Location: Beach, restaurants, bike rental.
Stayed here for 5 nights in early February. Loved the location. It's close to the beach, but on a fairly quiet block away from the noise. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Not a hotel but a hostelPosted Feb 13, 2018
This is not a hotel and certainly not worth three stars. It is more like a hostel. There is no restaurant, dinning or even a breakfast room. Breakfast included is extremely basic continental breakfast served is on a bar in small reception area. If you are not quick enough even that finishes and is not replaced. Air conditioning is noisy so sleep quality is very poor.
