Friday Night in South Beach

Great location on Collins Ave so it’s easy to walk everywhere, but downside is the area is PARTY CENTRAL, so really loud music from cars till 3 AM. Great if you’re part of the scene not so much when you need to get up early to catch a cruise... but would definitely stay there again under different circumstances,

Fantastic hotel close to everything!

Pros: Everything!
Cons: In our experience...not a single thing could have been better.
Location: We walked to the beach, designer shops, amazing restaurants, South Pointe for cocktails, late night stroll along Ocean Dr.
We can't say enough good about our stay at The Ithaca Hotel. From the moment we valet parked to the moment we departed! The staff was over-the-top friendly, the common areas as well as our room was spotless and welcoming. Our room was huge and comfy! We walked everywhere....5th St Beach, South Pointe, shopping... Stay here when you come to South Beach!

Intimate hotel

Lovely small hotel with character. Close to all the action and the beach!

Pros: Location.
Cons: Put coffee makers in the rooms.
Location: Walking distance to beach, shopping and lots of restaurants. Perfect location.
Stayed for 3 nights. Clean hotel. Close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Staff could be more responsive to issues. Our shower door didn't close properly and the handle was falling off. Mentioned to the person working the front desk and she had the handle fixed the nest morning but the shower door still didn't close properly.

So Many Problems

Cons: valet, front desk services, room cleanliness, building safety and security.
The hotel was hard to find, there was no place to pull in for check in. The front door was locked at 7pm when I tried to check in. The front desk number posted was incorrect. The correct number was hand-written on a taped up scrap of paper next to it. The full-sized elevator was "for baggage only" which I infer meant it was not safe to use. The room smelled very musky, I turned on the a/c and even bought a candle, but it didn't improve. It turned out to be the rug. There was a large red-brown stain on my sheets which, I was informed, was "not blood."It looked like blood. The remote was covered in a thick, sticky substance. The fridge in the room was busted. I needed my car at 6am the next morning, I confirmed that it could be brought out before agreeing to use the valet service. It was not brought around, there was no one to contact. I went to the hotel next door for help. Fortunately they have the same valet service. Apparently, they often have to help Ithaca guests. They have even given them rooms, when they were locked out of the building overnight.

Hotel on Miami Beach

Loud music in breakfast area, woke me up at 7h30, despite breakfast starting at 8h00. Thin walls as I could hear music from breakfast area - my room was 111 next to that area :(. No luggage area, you leave your bags in the corridor - does not give confidence but all went OK.

We stayed right after a hurricane and you couldn't even tell. Very accommodating staff and beautiful room.

Room is ok. Staff should learn what is a customrr. And breakfast room is not a room ( 2 tables).

Except for saggy beds, this is a great hotel, close to everything, friendly and helpful staff.
