"This hotel was an excellent stay for an affordable price. It's got unique features, such as the beautiful lobby and staircases, that make it a more enjoyable stay than a cookie-cutter hotel, and of course is close to the universities. In our particular case, there was a mechanical issue in our room and we were immediately given a new room (one that we considered to be an upgrade!). We were grateful for the kind workers, especially at the front desk."

"When we first arrived the young lady informed us that the room we booked was not available but she would bump us up to another room at no additional cost. Very disappointed to come home and see that instead was charged more then stated. Very upsetting especially since had stayed there before & never had that happen. "

"This is an excellent hotel both for the price and its proximity to the Notre Dame campus. I especially thought the facilities such as the gym were top notch. Also, the breakfast buffet had a large variety of healthy and delicious food. My only concern was with housekeeping. Apparently, the housekeepers only clean the room once every few days due to being short of staff. I'd advise hotel management to look into hiring more of them as it was difficult for me to schedule a cleaning during my four-day stay."
