Overall goodPosted Oct 6, 2015
Over all the stay was good. The room needed dusting and had a fridge but no microwave. The bathroom was clean, good shower pressure and hot water.

Decent place.Posted Aug 10, 2015 on Hotels
Good comfort and quiet for a night. Breakfast did not include eggs, but did offer sausage and waffles, plus cold menu.

It's an "ok" place to stayPosted Aug 9, 2015 on Hotels
it was "ok". Staff were generally nice, although the front desk man at night when we arrived was obviously annoyed by any questions we had (arm crossed, scowl, irritated voice). Not well managed. Experienced 2 rooms that had carpet tack exposed, but hidden under frayed carpet in front of bathroom. I realized it only by stepping on it! Ouch! The man at the desk (at night) was obviously irritated when I told him.. He just said "WELL, we're remodeling and haven't got to that room yet". I suggested to the day staff that maybe that tack could be removed or covered so no one else would step on it. The reply was "no because it will be reused for the new carpet". Staff really didn't seem too concerned about it. Beds were very uncomfortable. On the up side: the showers are nice. Pool, hot tub and sauna were available and in good shape.

Okay, but could be better.Posted Aug 6, 2015 on Hotels
Spent the night while on the road home from Ohio. Average but clean. However, our mattresses were uncomfortably soft, so we all had backaches in the morning. Walls are thin, listened to a wailing baby several times.

NicePosted Aug 2, 2015
Location: There are hotels on either side of the freeway - this is on the nicer side, I think. More stores and restaurants are located close by.
This is a nice hotel. Not terribly fancy but nicer than an average hotel room. The rooms are larger than normal and the beds quite comfortable. My kids liked the pool, hot tub and sauna. We had an issue with our original room (our fault, NOT the hotel's) and were moved to a different room with little trouble. The breakfast in the morning was good...waffles, bacon, cereal, good coffee. I liked this place.

On my way home.Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Just off the Indiana Toll Road. Shopping, dining, and Moose Lodge minutes away by car.
Cons: It appears that this Inn is having renovations, judging from dumpster and storage trailer on the lot. My room could use a little TLC. OK, but worn.
Location: Shopping, dining are walkable. More a short two mile drive. Moose Lodge had dining Wed through Sat. Gasoline and convenience store at end of street.
Elkhart, Indiana is a halfway point on this trip. Sleep Inns have always been a nice place to stay. Through Expedia, the price was right. Room very comfortable. Bed was very good. The Inn looks slightly worn in some ways. I suspect renovations are happening. Breakfast hot foods were ok at best. During my stay there were very strong thunderstorms. Elkhart, being very flat terrain, made for some fantastic lightening shows. The flower gardens around the property took a beating from the storms. The grounds around the property are quite pleasant. This location has ten lodging properties that I saw. There could be more that that. Priced from budget and up.
