Pros: Nice spacious room, comfortable beds, good air conditioning, and prompt service from the desk even late at night. Check in and out was super fast.
Cons: Styrofoam cups for morning coffee is a sad way to start the day :(
well located, perfectly reasonable budget hotel. Room was comfortable and clean.

This hotel is clean and inexpensive but it's very outdated. Some rooms, like ours, don't have outside facing windows.

3 nights. Slept great. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Staff very kind and responsive. Breakfast was good quailty.

Although carpets and chairs are somewhat worn, this hotel is wonderful: very close to Notre Dame, pleasant rooms, kind & helpful staff, and very affordable!!

Upgraded older motel

Pros: Roomy room, conveniences and amenities. Close to our destination.
Cons: Longer indoor pool hours and breakfast.
Location: Close to SMC and ND.
The room was large and comfortable. Included all conveniences (fridge, microwave, coffee, TV, wifi etc.). Breakfast was not a "full" breakfast, as described, but a "continental" type breakfast with pastries, coffee, cereal etc. Nothing hot. Has a nice indoor and outdoor pool but indoor pool hours are a bit limited and my wife could not fit a swim into our schedule.

Pros: Spacious room, clean. Checkin was simple.
Cons: Better lighting in rooms. Update the showerheads which have seen better days. Wouldn't cost much and would improve the experience greatly.
Location: Proximity to the Notre Dame campus and the Warren Golf course.
After booking, I read a number of reviews that made me wonder what was I thinking. When I entered the room, it was dark and needed to turn on all the lights to get a semblance of light. That's the only negative. Spacious, clean. It's an inexpensive hotel in an area with a lot of similar choices. The restaurant and bar was decent, although the choices at breakfast were light.

Wifi is very slow. Not good for business traveler

It is a very old hotel. The decoration is very good in old style. I was attracted by the lights and wood decoration. The price is not so low either comparing to nearby hotels. It is old anyway. The thing that I can not stand any more is the wifi. It is way too slow that we can not anything for business. When the tarffic is busy, the bandwidth of wifi turn me off from business. I have to use my mobile and carrier TLE to do my job. Not good for business traveler.
