Staff friendly but facilities lacking.

Posted Aug 13, 2015
No air conditioning - in summer with daily temperatures in the high 30's it was uncomfortable to sleep. Shower handle sits too low to be effective to stand, there was no plug provided to have a bath either. Plug in the sink didn't work. TV was ancient Wifi was poor and often disconnected or couldn't connect and was told no one else had a problem when I enquired to reception why it wouldn't work for me. Also, this hotel accepts large bus tour groups so breakfast time can be uncomfortable.

Cheap & Cheerful!

Pros: Price.
Cons: Access for disabled.
Location: A short walk to the pleasant town centre.
An interesting hotel especially if you are a fan of Soviet era decor and facilities. But at the price we paid it did the trick. Quiet and reasonably comfortable and within walking distance of the beautiful central square and plenty of bars and restaurants. Minus points - no lift so not suitable for some disabled people and bathroom was designed for tall people. However, recommended at the price.

Pros: Staff
Cons: No restaurant
Location: Close to town centre
Good location close to main square.Restaurant was only open for breakfast but maybe this was a seasonal thing or dependant on the number of guests. All of the staff were very helpful but I would like to single out Barbara one of the receptionists for going the extra mile, helping me with various different things, giving advice and directions, and always with a smile.

Cheap budget hotel in centre of nice town

Roomwall's are thin just as the matrasses. But it's 2 blocks away from the main square in the old centre, dotted with bar's and restaurants. Breakfast is included, but my vegetarian friend had little or none to eat.
