Nice clean hotel

Nice room, spacoius and clean. The only problem i had was that even though the complmentary breakfast had plenty of options it ended at 9.30 and on the 2 days we were there by 9 am when they ran out of the hot portion of the menu they would not replinish it.

Conveniently located, reasonably priced

Good, basic hotel that provides all the necessities. Certainly, there are opportunities for improvement such as updating of the very noisy air conditioners. Can return if needed.

Staff Valiantly Compensate for Decaying Facility

Pros: The room price was reasonable relative to a Fairfield Inn or Hampton Inn, but no where close to the same cleanliness.
Cons: Have trucks with refrigerator units which must run 24 hrs park across the parking lot, away from the building.
Location: Very convenient location on Dorsett Street.
Front Desk & House Cleaning Staff were OUTSTANDING! Facility is very run down and needs refurbish. Hallways smell, carpets are very dirty, hand rails on stair cases unsafe. I now understand why they must discount the rooms.

Absolutely amazing hotel staff.

Pros: The staff
Cons: The building needs a major overhaul.
Unfortunately the building itself is old and not really a great fit for families - which is too bad since the rooms with 3 king size beds is perfect for the family on vacation. No elevator and all the 3bdrm units are on the top (3rd) floor. The floors are uneven, the A/C is underpowered and the linens are best left un-used. But, it was a great price, the staff were amazing and for a single night it makes a good enough cheap layover.

Did not know we were staying at a truck stop

Pros: Maid service was good and the room was cleaned everyday and the bed made up. We left packages in the room and nothing was touched or moved.
The overall experience for my wife and I was very disappointing. The Staff was very friendly, helpful and informative about local places to eat and tour. The Continental breakfast was a joke, prepackaged donuts, prepackaged cereal, cartons of milk and OJ, not what I have had at other hotels. When we pulled in there were 3 semi trucks and 2 box trucks parked in the back of the hotel, we did not know this was a truck stop and it made us a little leery of parking our car in the lot, as it is not lit very well. Also we were joking about looking for other people/professions that truck stops bring!! It was down pouring one night and one of the tractor trailers was parked up next to the doors, taking up 12 - 15 parking spots. So my wife and I had to park at the other end of the lot and run through a bad down pour. Our first 2 nights there we returned to the hotel to have 5 police cars, lights going, in front of the hotel. That was nice to see. The beds were very uncomfortable, causing back troubles for me. They must have been renovating the rooms because we saw mattresses all over the hallway. I also took notice to a roll away bed that was in the hallway all week while we were there, outside of someone's room. In our bathroom there was a tanning lamp right over the toilet, really? Overall, Management needs to step up and look into this.

Great location.

Arrived at the hotel and found out Expedia did not send the hotel the confirmation #. Spend half and hour trying to sort out the issue. The hotel staff was wonderful in helping us with contacting Expedia to get the confirmation #. The hotel staff went above and beyond her duties.

I think they could have spared more than the miniscule amount of soap and shampoo that was in the extremely small bathroom. The front desk staff seemed disinterested and uninformed.

Definitely overpriced

Needs to be update, did not feel extremely safe traveling with younger daughter, breakfast was minimal, no hair dryer
