Location....location and pet friendly hotel

Pros: Pet friendly and always clean.
Cons: Maybe isolate the windows, so you won't be able to hear traffic noise. We were near the front and we could hear traffic.
Location: Good restaurants. Leonardo's Pizza, Chinese buffet, Al's Deli, IHOP, Starbucks, crafts stores Michaels and Joanne's are just walking distance.
When we travel with our little dachshund princess, there is no better hotel than La Quinta. One of the main bonus is its location. You can even walk and find an array of restaurants that offer excellent food. Staff is helpful. The clean lady was excellent and she went beyond her duties (Allie). We left her a daily tip for her keeping our room impecable. We had our car and we were close to Ben & Jerry's factory, Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, outlets, church street, lake champlain. Their breakfast is good for the price you get. I wish they will have it until later. When we are on holidays sometimes you want to sleep in.

The staff, including the front desk, were sub-par.

Pros: The shower was good.
Cons: Water pressure out of the bathroom sink faucet. Replace the front office staff with better appearing, more attentive and courteous personnel.
The breakfast food was minimal and low quality. One of the two waffle makers was not functioning properly.

Awful stay

Paid $204 a night for a room that smelled moldy first thing when we walked in. Floor was moist, bed felt moist, even the toilet paper. Outlets in bathroom didn't work. Lights by our bed didn't work either. Not worth the cost AT ALL. Never staying again

Nice on the outside

Non-smoking room smelled like smoke... Lady at the desk said because they were booked the only thing they could do is spray it... the other customer who walked into the elevator smelled like pot... I'm all about freedom, but if I'm paying for a smoke free room I should get a smoke free room... If someone else violated the law because they were too lazy to walk less than a minute down the hall they should pay for it... Pay for new carpets, new beds, new everything.

Pros: Clean and close to mall and restaurants.
First time we stayed at this La Quinta and we were very pleased. The staff were very pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. One small compliant was a noisy upstair traveller who did not know how to walk quietly. Other wise great stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Des bris dans la chambre

Pros: La tranquillité
Cons: Voir à ce que tout fonctionne bien dans chaque chambre.
Location: L'emplacement est excellent.
Dès mon arrivée, je devais faire un appel urgent. Le téléphone fonctionnait mal. Après maintes reprises, ils ont décidé de changer d'appareil de téléphone dans ma chambre. Le lendemain matin, le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnait pas. Ce sont de petits détails, mais ... qui finissent par ennuyer notre séjour.

Fine place to stay close to the airport and town. The non-smoking room smelled a little smokey, but the service was excellent and breakfast was good.

this is a terribly old and dated hotel

The rooms are dirty and dingy, it's straight out of 1985. Not at all what we expected for the price we paid. I would have expected a rate of 80$/ night for a place like this, instead of the 200$/ night we paid! Very disapointing experience overall. My kids had to keep their shoes on in the room because of the filth on the stained carpets. Will never stay in this chain again EVER!
