The service and staff was excellent.
The condition of the hotel was questionable. Walkways were slippery because of the surface used to make the walkways.
Septic is used to irrigate all of the grounds...the smell is disgusting and they begin early evening, they could at least wait early morning hours.
The smell of raw sewage permeates the hallways and inside the rooms, even tho all doors and windows are closed. This practice is very unhealthy, especially for people who have children.
In order to access our room one evening, we had to run under one of the sprinklers which was passing over our walkway, being splashed with sewage. Totally unacceptable.
We were disappointed as the only wine you could get was house wine which we were unable to drink, as it tasted like battery acid. If you wish a different choice, you are required to buy an entire bottle which is extremely expensive.
My niece was married at the resort..the meal was not acceptable, the steaks were either over cooked or raw and too tough to chew, the shrimp was on the edge of being rotten and was soft. I ordered an ounce of Tequila and it was brought to me in a plastic water Tumbler, not a shooter glass. The wedding plates were extra and very expensive.
The hotel was constantly pushing the overpriced massage and spa.
The entire resort is situated so that you are either walking up or down stairs, or walking on unsafe surfaces
This hotel is very expensive and certainly not worth half of the cost.

We are sorry that our irrigation service wasn't of your liking. We use a harmless treated water for watering our grounds because it is not a threat for people and animals. I can assure you that we are not intent jeopardizing our guest health in any possible way.
We have taken note of your comments on your experience about the walking distances within the resort and will take them into consideration to further improve our facilities; nevertheless, we specify in all brochures that the hotel does not have elevators; moreover, we regret reading your dissatisfaction on the food and wine services and we would like to mention that it is really important for us as a hotel to know how and where we fall short in order to take action to better meet our guests’ expectations.
